Yes, a very good point. Hollywood, American Dream, muscle cars, McDonalds, NBA etc. etc. American Dream might already, to some extent, be a thing of the past but legends die hard.

You do realize that Russia was for the longest time the number 2 emigration destination in the world, after the United States, until Crimea?

Since then flows have reduced, but still hundreds of thousands come annually, leading to a potentially explosive domestic political situation.

Many millions of people want to live in Russia. But we force them to learn Russian, and do all sorts of other tests.

If the US had any brains, it would support Russia in Ukraine and copy Russia in turning the world's worst sh*ithole, Mexico, into a civilized country by sending 500,000-men army to kill every narc on sight.

When done, the US should copy Israel and its wall - machine guns and all...No asylum crap, no "visitors", and no pregnant women with US citizens inside...

How many people emigrated to Russia back then? Nothing remotely close to what you aim at. And how many do you think will be willing to do so now? You had GDP per capita lower than Costa Rica before this war (I don't even want to think what it will be after it). You know what attracts immigrants - wealth.

As far as I understand one of the main reasons (besides helping Ukraine, of course) why Poland offered to help with the transit of Ukrainian grain was to prevent hunger in Africa, etc., because that's where that cheap grain was supposed to go, not to Poland.

I missed the exact point where Putin became a war criminal because a Russian soldier would take a homeless, hungry, cold, and wet orphan to a place where that 10-year-old is safe, has her own bed, is dry, warm, well-fed, and safe - something that every Amerian would do without the fear of being executed or spending the rest of his life in a military prison.
