Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

Tacitus
18 Apr 2023  #2851

Imagine if Missouri and Indian

Further imagine that Missouri declares itself independent after a democratic referendum while confirming within the Unions' law. The result is accepted by the USA and confirmed in a treaty. Then 30 years later the USA decides to invade the country and after failure at the battlefield targets civilian infrastructure. The USA would face the same condemnation as Russia does.

You have zero right to invade Ukraine and this atrocity will tarnish Russia's reputation for at least 1-2 generations.

Kashub1410
18 Apr 2023  #2852

@Bobko
Difference is Missouri's claim would be illegitimate, while Ukraines claim are legitimate

Just as Russia can claim that Gagarin was more important then Armstrong. Even tho there are grounds to claim it. Does not necessarily make it true

mafketis
18 Apr 2023  #2853

Imagine that Missouri does this

blah blah blah you keep trying to justify genocide...

russia and Ukraine have not been in the same country since the end of 1991.... in 1994 russia signed an agreement committing itself to defend Ukrainian borders as they then existed, since russia is a country without honor or a sense of truth it broke that in 2014 when it invaded

they're no decorating that pig.... it's ugly and it stinks, just like the russian state.

Kashub1410

@Bobko
Then tell us, come on. If Russia in any shape or form has not threatened subtly or openly on use of nuclear weapons, in Ukraine, Poland, London etc go on

Bobko
18 Apr 2023  #2855

@Kashub1410

I wrote, in clear English terms above - why the Budapest memorandum is worth a little bit less than a soiled piece of toilet paper.

We can discuss for countless hours, whether a threat of a nuclear strike was used against Ukraine or not, or we can just accept that the entire agreement is nothing more than a political commitment made at a different time, within a different context - when no one could imagine the scale of retardation in modern Ukraine.

mafketis
18 Apr 2023  #2856

a soiled piece of toilet paper.

In other words, just like any agreementy or contract that russia signs... which is why negotiations are a no go... you don't negotiate with proven liars with no dedication to truth.... like the septic tank known as russia

the entire agreement is nothing more than a political commitment made at a different time

In other words, the russian government abandoned the agreement when it became inconvenient.... the actions of a country with no honor.

no one could imagine the scale of retardation in modern Ukraine

Wanting away from russian influence (the center of a vaste empire of filth and theft and lies and violence and other brutality) is far from being retarded....

What no one could imagine was that russia would try to rise above its station of supplier of natural resources and try to emulate the fourth reich so brilliantly....

russian state tv routinely dreams of nuking half the planet and _Ukraine_ is retarded? russia is the capital of clown world....

Tacitus

@B.B.

scale of retardation in modern Ukraine

Does that answer your previous question?

Paulina

So will Russia be a happy land when Ukraine is educated about subordination.

Whatever bad happens to RuSSia (and hope it's going to be bad), RuSSia deserves it. I hope that something bad will happen to you too, Bobko. You and your ilk are freaking evil. You deserve every ounce of hate that Ukrainians have for you.

I'm just wondering about one thing - what is wrong with your girlfriend?? If I were her, I'd spit in your face.

when no one could imagine the scale of retardation in modern Ukraine.

If countries were to be invaded and their population killed based on the scale of their retardation, RuSSia would deserve being invaded ten times over.

Whatever bad happens to RuSSia, RuSSia deserves it.

I will be fully satisfied when Russia multiplies into a dozen Russtans. That will be enough for me.

freaking evil.

Exactly. Pure Mongol barbarians.

what is wrong with your girlfriend?? If I were her, I'd spit in your face.

Come on, it is a tall tale by Bobko who resorts to such bluffs to make his dirty pro Kremlin propaganda more credible to forum readers. This Ukrainian "girlfriend" is a spoof creation for the sake of the forum. :):):)

Muscovite atrocities in Ukraine - sickening

theguardian.com/world/2023/apr/18/wagner-mercenary-admits-tossing-grenades-at-injured-ukrainian-pows

It is obvious that Ukraine can never negotiate with these animals. They are as evil as the wartime Germans.

Summer is coming though as well as Leopards, Challengers, Abrams and more ammunition. Long road of sanctions and disease ahead for the Orcs

Hahaha! It's really not, and what's more - it's not unusual.

Paulina
18 Apr 2023  #2862

That will be enough for me.

Not for me... They deserve more than that... They deserve to suffer...

revenge

Honestly, I admire Ukrainian soldiers for their self-control. I feel like tearing Bobko to shreds just based on reading his comments. Imagine someone who lost their family in this war...

Hahaha! It's really not, and what's more - it's not unusual.

Then why don't you invite her to PF so she could share her thoughts with us about what her boyfriend is writing here? Hahaha!

Bobko
18 Apr 2023  #2863

Then why don't you invite her to PF so she could share her thoughts

Your problem is you are measuring all of my "Ukrainian" statements, against your Polish mentality. Ukraine is not Poland, and Ukrainians are not Poles.

Imagine this, the situation is complex, and does not lend itself to simple generalizations.

Paulina
18 Apr 2023  #2864

@Bobko, you wrote yourself that your girlfriend is pro-Ukrainian, right? And her parents too? So what does that mean? What are her views? And what does she think about your views?

Ukrainians are not Poles.

They're human beings though. And they're fighting and dying for their country, just like Poles did and many others did in the past. Their country is being invaded, their people are getting killed, their lives are being destroyed. You don't have to be a Pole to be able to understand how they feel. You just have to be a human being and not a sociopath/psychopath.

Miloslaw

, the situation is complex, and does not lend itself to simple generalizations.

It is you that is overcomplicating this issue.

Ukraine is Ukrainian and not Russian.
Simple!

18 Apr 2023  #2866

And they're fighting and dying for their country, just like Poles did and many others did in the past.

The stupidest comparison in this thread.
Only morons want to die for their country. Normal people die while protecting their families and themselves or because they are unable to escape.

Russia's enemy is NATO and those who want NATO in Ukraine, not Ukrainians. That is why there are so few civilian casualties there.

Bottom line: Russia has the same right to protect itself in Ukraine as the US did in Iraq and now in Syria. Call DC and they will explain this concept to you.

Paulina
18 Apr 2023  #2867

The stupidest comparison in this thread.

This is not a comparison, this is stating a fact.

Russia's enemy is NATO and those who want NATO in Ukraine, not Ukrainians.

Judging by the hateful anti-Ukrainian propaganda on RuSSian state TV and by what Putinist RuSSians are saying and writing themselves - you're clearly wrong.

Russia has the same right to protect itself in Ukraine as the US did in Iraq and now in Syria

Meaning - it has none. I'm glad we agree on something :)

Novichok

Sue 'em both.
Germans went to Poland to exterminate Jews and enslave Poles. Russia is doing everything possible to minimize civilian casualties. Duh!

The American, British, and Canadian ambassadors in Moscow were all summoned by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, over claims of interference in the country's internal affairs. The move was sparked by their comments on the sentence handed down to opposition activist Vladimir Kara-Murza, who was found guilty of treason and slandering the army on Monday.

Russia should move hostile embassies to where it's -50F in summer.

You agree with his 25 year sentence for speaking his mind ?

Tacitus
19 Apr 2023  #2871

Russia is doing everything possible to minimize

That is why they targeted civilian infrastructure (with their propagandists gloating about Ukrainians freezing in their homes ) in winter and fired expensive missiles at civilian houses?

Russia could very easily minimize civilian casualties simply by withdrawing from Ukraine.

GefreiterKania
19 Apr 2023  #2872

minimize civilian casualties

Yes. I'm quite sure the two-year-old toddler who was murdered in recent Russian bombardment of civilian blocks of flats in Sloviansk (careful: graphic images)...

nytimes.com/2023/04/14/world/ukraine-strike-sloviansk-toddler.html

... feels properly "minimized". Another day, another war crime...

Russia could very easily minimize civilian casualties simply by withdrawing from Ukraine.

Exactly.

two-year-old toddler who was murdered in recent Russian bombardment

Hey, some other country at some other time did something similar so.... no big deal! (saving "rich" the trouble of posting..)

Kashub1410

"Russia could very easily minimize civilian casualties simply by withdrawing from Ukraine."

U.S.A's Democrats got enough political support and system in place to perform such operations and save face in international relations despite it being seen as weakness.

Russia's Putinist faction is so timid and fragile, that it cannot do the same and therefore is not only worse but, even weaker then Democrats and Biden. That says something to all Republican supporters if anything.

mafketis
19 Apr 2023  #2875

why are you so sympathetic to them so much?

Despite a difficult history, it turns out that Ukrainians of today have similar aspirations to those of Poles regarding European and western orientation and freedom and democracy.

russia has never done anything good for Poland... it has only been a source of violence, military aggression and the theft of Polish resources,

Ukrainian labor, on the other hand, has been an important part of the Polish economy for years now and Poles admire how Ukrainians twice stood up to russian interference in their political system in 2004 and 2013.

why are serbs so hostile to ideas like freedom? why are they so in love with russian mafia?

Kashub1410
19 Apr 2023  #2876

why are serbs so hostile to ideas like freedom? why are they so in love with russian mafia?

It is caused by an criminal mindset, (us vs them) to garner support and change as many people as possible to a individualistic perception while not adhering to rules and laws cause they view it with a cynical approach about things "really are"

They do not appreciate or approve or agree with agreements due to it been broken or put them in one form or another jeapordy. Especially in a crisis/hungrr situation.

There have been studia on human behaviour and how mentality and behaviour changes due to hunger on an individualistic level. It's not surprising if happends as well in a group setting

Who has been sentenced to 25 years for that in any normal democratic country ?

Do you agree with Kara Murza's 25 year sentence? No essays, just a yes/no answer

Velund
19 Apr 2023  #2878

just today this Kara-Murza guy was jailed for 25 years....and for what? Just opposing the Ukraine war....

Between the other - for paid assistance to entities that present threat to security of Russian Federation. $30K per months was not so bad income. But now it is payback time. Treason is not a parking violation.

What entities?

Velund
19 Apr 2023  #2880

Russia should move hostile embassies to where it's -50F in summer.

Turukhansk is good enough place. It is quite hot at summer, but huge hordes of mosquitos compensate for lack of ice. ;)

What entities?

"The investigation believes that the oppositionist "for reasons of political hatred" voiced "deliberately false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces to bomb residential areas, maternity homes, hospitals and schools" in Ukraine in the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona. In addition, while serving as the deputy chairman of Open Russia (an organization whose activities have been recognized as undesirable in Russia), Kara-Murza provided assistance to organizations from NATO member countries, which the investigation viewed as directed against Russian security, for several years. It was noted that the accused received 30 thousand dollars per month for his services."
