Definitely.
Poland, even under communism, remained by and large a Latin civilisation country and when the shackles of communism were broken Poland flourished. Ukraine is a Turanian civilisation country (like their larger Russian brothers). Totally different mentality. Ignorant outsiders can be fooled by outward similarities in looks or languages but the difference is indeed profound.
In 1989 Ukraine's GDP was
24% higher than Poland's. Communist model was certainly more suitable to eastern feudal mentality Then the wind of change blew and both countries could develop without the burden of communism: in 2003 (so even before Poland joined the EU) Poland's GDP was
more than 400% that of Ukraine.
Juncker is an old fox and he knows that. Completely different civilisations.
Of course, you can argue that eastern Slavic countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia) are more suited to feudal, dictatorial systems, more in accordance with their civilisational model and shouldn't be bribed, persuaded or dragged to adapt Western - totally alien to them - model of economy/society, and I would be inclined to agree with you.
Let Africans remain in Africa, Turanians (widely understood) in Turania and Westerners in the West. That's what logic, common sense and ordinary human decency tells us. Unfortunately, some people in the West would seem to be forgetting about these things recently and it might have dire consequences for the entire West. Moreover, if the leftist idiocy continues to go on a rampage in the West with their idiotic woke and eco-nazi agenda, some people might even begin to see the positive sides of the Turanian model. Professor Koneczny is rolling in his grave.
