Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 8

Novichok

In recent years their country has been named the most stable, the freest and the safest by various organisations."

You mean while next that empire-building evil Russia? How could it be? No daily shootouts at the border?

...a country that had zero problems with Russia. None. Zilch.

Now, Finland is a NATO wh*ore looking for a boogeyman and soon the home for some bad sh*it that can go boom.

The word "morons" is too mild...Soon: A moron like a Finn will be popular...

Finland was named the happiest country in the world by the UN's Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

It is so easy to be happy with Prozac... I dont understand however, how they manage to reconcile very high levels of suicide with happiness...

suicide with happiness

Well, even suicides are happier in this country.

Finland - 20

Yes, coz they neighbour Russia which once brutally attacked them.

Still, Russians have a higher rate.

ConstantineK

Imperialist Russians will achieve that standard in 2200. On condition they start getting civilised today, of course.

By that time the west will be way ahead, salivating and smiling...

Nigeria - 10

There are fewer suicides in Nigeria because before you reach the bridge from which you would like to throw yourself into the water, you will be attacked and murdered 5 times.

I know nothing about Nigeria, i had never been there, but honestly, Finland is the most boring and depressing country, it is worse than Poland actually.

Finland is the most boring

BS. While Poland and the USSR were deeply submerged in communist system yoke, you could buy fresh coconuts or pineapples in Finish supermarkets for affordable prices. I mean the 1980s. The fruit unavailable in communist countries except private stalls at bazaars with horrendous costs.

Fruit test is the best to measure a country`s attractiveness.

Can you take the trouble of explaining me the correlation between happiness and affordability of pineapples in supermarkets?

Oh, btw, as for the border:

LOL
Depends when :) Just on the previous page Bobko wrote about "Finland losing its second most important city, and 60% of its industrial potential" after being invaded by the Soviet Union.

Finland - 20
Rwanda - 15
Nigeria - 10

My guess would be the fact that Finland is a Northern country - not much sun.

It means that imperialist Russians are years backward compared to Fins.

I am lost. Is Finland happiest country or not then? Happy Tree Friends country?

For Poles living in communist Poland in the 80s being able to buy oranges or bananas in a regular shop was a sign that Finland must be a normal and sane country :)))

We have pineapples and coconuts in every supermarket btw. We ought to be happy then...

We have pineapples and coconuts in every supermarket

Today. While Fins already had them 40 years ago. Bobko laughed at Finland who "lost" the Winter War of 1940. Fins "lost" and could easily buy fresh coconuts and pineapples in their supermarkets in 1980s while Soviet Russians could buy only vodka and lard for zakuski.

You were wrong, they are not... You were much happier, occasionally buying oranges and bananas then Finns who had them in supermarkets on a daily base...

Even in the happiest and most successful country there always will be suicides. I think that more "closed up" nations are more likely to have higher suicide rates. Apparently Scandinavians aren't the most open people. For example, according to Wikipedia suicide rate is higher in Japan than in Poland. So culture and societal factors may also be at play. People who need help may find it harder to open up to other people or seek professional help and that's way the number of suicides may be higher in such a society. It doesn't mean that the rest of the society isn't happy though, as we can see.

Ah... Your happiness heavily depends on you personal view point. For you, fresh pineapples and coconuts (its taste is for an amateur btw) were an ultimate dream, but for Finns, the happiness was liquor travels to Saint Petersburg/Leningrad where they wallowed drunk everywhere...

You were much happier, .

Poles clearly weren't happy.

occasionally buying oranges and bananas then Finns who had them in supermarkets on a daily base...

My parents couldn't afford to "occasionally" buy oranges and bananas (that is, if you could even get them). My parents were only getting oranges and bananas (and very rarely) in packages sent by mu city grandmother who was working in the US for some time - she was sending them from the US.

then Finns who had them in supermarkets on a daily base...

It's not only about what fruit you could buy and for how much. It's just one example and a symbol of how sh1tty PRL was. As for sh1t, btw. Not being able to buy toilet papier was much worse than not being able to buy exotic fruit. Try to wipe your ass with a newspaper on a daily basis.

May i give you advice here? Wash it! It is healthier and ecofriendly...

Coming from a RuSSian guy I'm guessing it's something misogynistic/sexist. So I hurry to inform you that my grandmother was a middle-aged lady at that time and she was washing dishes and helping with cooking in a restaurant.

HAAHHAHHA, i lived in Nigeria for 4 years, I know you are using dark humour Alien but this is so true :(

I thought Novhole would be a fan of Finland, like Denmark they don't take any sh*t from illegal migrants.

I was very close... I would prefer rather scratching my ******* with a piece of newspaper than washing dishes in a foreign country. Was she happy btw?

If you mean bidet then you still need toilet paper:

nytimes.com/wirecutter/blog/bidets-better-than-toilet-paper/

I was very close...

Meaning?

I would prefer rather scratching my ******* with a piece of newspaper than washing dishes in a foreign country.

Why?

Btw, my city grandfather was a communist so I'm guessing it was easier for them to get toilet paper than for my parents.

And in Poland my grandmother was a housewife. So, maybe for you as a man washing dishes and cooking is below your dignity. Women, however, usually have to do it on a daily basis at their homes without getting payed.

Was she happy btw?

She looked happy in the photos :) The restaurant was in some kind of a marina, so it was a pretty place. And I'm sure she was happy when she was packing those oranges, mandarins, bananas, real chocolate, etc. for her loved ones back home :))

@ConstantineK, it's strange for me that you're showing such a condescending attitude towards a working person, considering that you supposedly have communist views. Aren't communists supposed to respect the working class? Where is your respect then? Why are you such a snob?

Paulina
24 Dec 2023  #1409

Btw, ConstantineK, you seem to be missing something here...:

than washing dishes in a foreign country. Was she happy btw?

How old are you? Have you lived during the communist times? I don't know, maybe life was much better in the Soviet Union than in Poland... Or maybe it was better for you, because your family were communists... For many Poles, however, going to the US (and other Western countries) was a dream come true. I'm guessing that for my grandmother it was like visiting a different world. It was probably like a holiday for her.

Amazing that Udmurtians are lecturing us about suicide rates while ignoring the rather large red colored country on this map.

worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/suicide-rate-by-country

Udmurtia is number 9 in the world. And probably number 1 if you add the poor souls or who drink themselves to death by accident.

RIP to the many lives wasted there while the rulers live in gold castles.
