@johnny reb
That video is not from Poland, its from Russia, thats my only point. Those comments from Putin came a few years ago. That said, he probably still thinks it.

@Bobko
I gave up all Russian vodka when the war started, and miss Beluga honestly. Polish though is very good, and Sobieski is very under rated.

"Bandra's Fire", "Chmielnicki Nectar", and " Heroes Drink".

You have good knowledge of the Ukrainian market.

Diageo should hire you as head of marketing for Ukraine.

That said, he probably still thinks it.

It's not just putain.... it's what russians think. Have you interacted with them online? Just had an interaction with one that's furious that Estonia expects russians who've lived there for decades to learn the language and wants putain to invade....

Many such cases as DT would say....

@mafketis

Why don't you go and learn f*cking Estonian? Tell me how useful it was, and how much money that made your family.

Is it you, Bobko? I see the enemy finally crossed your red line...I am so proud of you.

Why don't you go and learn f*cking Estonian?

I dont' live in Estonia.... russians placed there by the soviets who have had 30 years to learn and are too stupid or lazy to.... need to learn the language or go to russia.

Why do russians think they don't have to assimilate anywhere?

Are you serious?

Do you know what Russians have done for America?

...resettling possible hostile minorities has a tradition in these lands...Volga-Germans anyone?

Sometimes it is needed, isn't it!

Sometimes it is needed, isn't it!

No, it was a big mistake.

Do you know what Russians have done for America?

America has higher status than russia so they're more willing to integrate... they think of Estonia as an inferior place and so they don't (though Estonia is one of the most modern countries in Europe).

It's all about the clout (with lots of migrants, not just russians).

@mafketis
I interact with Russians weekly, and before the war in person. I know them well, and have some as friends who keep me informed as to the happenings inside Russia and their perspective. I dont hate all Russians, but I do hate the Russian way of thinking they are somehow superior to most if not all others. I have done business directly with Russians and do not trust even those I know. All of that said, if we do not recognize the fears or concerns of our adversaries, we have nothing to build compromise on. Make no mistake, this war will end in a compromise, not a victory for either country.

this war will end in a compromise,

Yes. Ukraine is too strong to lose, Russia is too weak to win.

Bobko

Russians are superior to no one, but fascist trolls.

We are the nation that broke the chains of the proletariat, and carved away land from ourselves multiple times to free other peoples. We fought around the world, for no gain but gratitude from the freed peoples.

To anyone who is a friend, Russians hold an outstreched hand :)

You wrongly believe you did. Your proletaryat rotted in gulag camps with peasants and intelligentsia.

Meanwhile Finnish intelligence reports that not only is russia trying to destablize the country by shoving migrants across the border... they're recruiting spies among the migrants...

We are the nation that broke the chains of the proletariat

The spirit of cummunism was the first thing the USSR dropped when Hitler invaded. The initial propaganda was calling on people to fight for communism and the proletariat with absolutely dismal results. They quickly switched to nationalism with "mother russia" as their main motive and saw much better results. Even to this day Russians refer to WW2 not as WW2 but as "Great Patriotic War".

They even rehabilitated the church when it came time to ask people to die for the Greater Good. Turns out despite 20 years of propaganda, people trusted the clergy more than the party. And that's a big L, considering how horrible the Russian clergy is.

Reminder that Mussolini the political chameleon was a socialist and ran socialist anti-war newspapers until he saw workers of various European nationalities prefer to defend their national interest than their class interests. That's when he dropped internationalism and became a nationalist.

Really, the first thing they dropped was a big piece of sh*t out of fear.

...people trusted the clergy more than the party.

This proves that there was no brainwashing in a "communist" Poland.
Nobody I knew ever became a communist. We all knew it was all bullsh*it. The only question was how to GTFO of Poland.

Ukraine's 2023 counteroffensive was "not successful" and Russia has the upper hand strategically, former Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki admitted, in an interview with Britain's Express newspaper published on Friday.

Hey, Mateusz, before you say another lie like this one .... check with PF Russia-hating military experts ...they say that Ukraine is winning so what's up with that, Mat... I trust them more than some former Polish PM...

Can you afford to eat eggs for breakfast, every day?

Just ordered some food (29 kg total order, less than 2 euro for picking and delivery to the door from Auchan in 2 hour period starting 2.5 hours from moment of order). As you was so upset about eggs price and availability, can inform you... 8 different brands available. I prefer "Okskoe", in the middle of price line. Smallest eggs (C2) is about EUR 0.94 per 10-eggs pack, biggest standard (C0) is EUR 1.4 per 10 eggs pack.

Biden called a meeting for the top members in congress and the senate to work on aid for Ukraine. Biden will be told all he has to do is sign the border security agreement and aid will begin flowing once again. What doesnt sleepy Joe understand? And we have Olaf in Germany pledging billions to Ukraine on his own and the EU being mad at him for doing so? Amazing how the EU would get mad when of course they dont want to control everything.

Meanwhile France will sign security "agreements" with Ukraine in short order according to Macron. These "agreements" though, are not "guarantees'. So it looks like more bull$hit from the French and political showmanship. The EU, a similarly malfunctioning political body closely resembling the United States government.

It seems that the nig@er's "prostate cancer" was caused by kinzhal.

I would not be surprised if there will be soon in the news that "Austin has retired because of his health condition" or something like that.....

Mafketis' favorite Russian - Kamil Galeev - has been rapidly losing followers on Twitter.

All his "Ukraine Bros" are disappearing, after this Tatar ended up being a Palestinian supporter. Surprise, surprise!

He supports the Houthis too, and this causes no small amount of heartache amongst the fans.

People only listen to what they want to hear, it seems.

Russia has been hit by its biggest civil protest since Putin invaded Ukraine -with 10,000 taking to the streets and violent clashes breaking out over the jailing of an anti-war activist.

Riot police and demonstrators were involved in battles and a number of 'wounded' were reported at the protest

Bobko
17 Jan 2024  #119

@johnny reb

Yes, except the protest has nothing to do with Putin, and everything to do with the plans of a local soda mining company to destroy yet another mount sacred to the local Bashkir population.

Nice job, trying to spin an environmental protest as a systemic threat to the Kremlin.

PolAmKrakow
17 Jan 2024  #120

@Bobko
Video and photos are pretty clear that the protests are about the jailing of a local for 4 years due to his expression of displeasure with the war in Ukraine. Its not some environmental bull$hit. Since when is Russia concerned about the environment?
