Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 9

Bobko

Their generals (despite such low salaries) are always rich.

So it was even in Caesar's times.

Zhukov - hero that he was - looted.

Patton - looted.

Montgomery - looted.

So f*ck off.

Zhukov was the only one of them to actually pay a price, admittedly he attempted the looting on an industrial scale with entire train wagon loads of loot.

Pointing out what is wrong with Russia is easy from a western standpoint. What is wrong with Russia is equally as wrong with Ukraine, they are cousins if not more closely related. Can someone point out what is better in Ukraine than in Russia, other than getting locked up for speech issues. Really, if you dont know you're in Russia and dont know you need to STFU then you getting arrested is on you.

Still waiting for the answer from all you leftists socialist fvcks on how much the US has to contribute to Ukraine before you will admit Ukraine cant get Russia out. Pretty simple question for all the strategy experts here, aka Karens who dont know $hit.

As proven by the conduct of the whole Russian army?

The Red Army must have gone to the school of good manners before they finally put an end to the killing of 27 million Soviets.
I would be a lot less nice. Instead of making love to German women, unauthorized as it was, I would callect as many Germans in Berlin as I could and give them the Dresden treatment.

To save ammo, the Leningrad method would be just fine.

BTW, if the Russian army is as bad as you claim, don't fvck with them.

Did you ever pet a cobra? There you go...I knew you were smarter than your posts...

Can someone point out what is better in Ukraine than in Russia,

Ukraine is not a threat to anyone and won't be in the foreseeable future.

Was not until U started that sh*ittalk about NATO.
Cuba was not a threat to anyone until the Soviet ships took off toward Cuba carrying the objects the boys in the DC did not approve of.

The minimum wage in Udmurtia BTW is 211 dollars (probably far less if they allowed the rubel to free float again)

So the 6x minimum wage you get for giving a hand job to your Major and then running towards Ukrainian drones is actually 1200 USD - more or less the minimum wage in Poland and about a third of what you would get working in Waffle House.

Big bucks indeed

You got a raw deal. Should have asked for twice as much and a promotion.

@cms neuf

It's more like $3-4K for frontline duty.

Globohomo anyone? Russian armed forces are the most gay army in Europe. They're like ancient Thebans, with the sole difference: Thebans were actually good soldiers as they butchered the Spartans at Leuctra and Mantinea.

Montgomery - looted

Are you seriously trying to suggest that he ran a pyramid scheme like the udmurtian army where the soldiers have to give a chunk of their wages to their bosses. Or that he was in some way corrupt like almost every udmurtian public sector employee?

In your own words:

f*ck off.

1200 USD - more or less the minimum wage in Poland

Less than the wages for flipping burgers in McDonalds (which has a far smaller likelihood of the employee dying in screaming agony).

See? Another good reason not to fvck with them...

Where is Velund? Did you pis* him off, Bobko?

Of course I'm not suggesting a field marshal ran a salary skimming scam on the rank and file. I was reacting to your statement of generals surprisingly being upgraded from middle class and below to sudden elites during war.

Counter question to you - are you seriously suggesting that every Russian military unit has a running pyramid scheme of superiors skimming salaries, or do you actually think this is a limited phenomenon which you have only learned about because of Russia's own investigative and law enforcement work?

Yes that is the norm in the Udmurtian army - just like looting and defecating in the streets

Here in Poland every family has stories of the disgraceful conduct of Soviet troops when they invaded in 1939 alongside their Nazi allies

Hard to believe any Udmurtian troops are getting 4K a month

What? Are you on drugs?

The wages scams in the udmurt army are well enough documented as is the corruption at every level.

In fact, the entire public sector there is endemically corrupt.

As well you know.

Mrs Mills on the piano

My favorite female piano player is probably Cleo Brown (aka queen of boogie woogie)

I meant Scott Joplin as a classical composer, he was capable of a lot more than ragtime (and even his ragtime was much more musically rich and complex than most realize).

Some of his best work though was not ragtime (only) like Bethena, Solace and parts of Treemonisha

Cleo Brown

Classier than Mrs Mills.

Scott Joplin as a classical composer

In which case that's my next listening when the internet here is good enough to download some to Spotify (it's a case of download when possible because streaming rarely works reliably here).

An American composer I like is Milhaud; he deserves to be heard more.

I remember you writing knowledgeably about Kurt Weill which suggests we have overlapping tastes in music. His symphonies are worth listening to despite being overlooked by his better stuff. He kept improving as he got older; if he'd lived longer and written more, perhaps it would be some later classical stuff that never happened that we'd remember him by now.

No such thing as 'occupied Ukrainian territories', Russia tells UN
Crimea and four other regions became parts of Russia at the wishes of the local population, the diplomat said

Ukraine and its Western backers used the meeting to condemn Russia's "occupation" of its neighbor's lands. Speaking from the podium, Nebenzia rejected this notion. "In reality, there is no such thing as temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. They are Russian regions," he said.

Damn right...As long as there's such as self-determination, CDL is Russia and the Russian troops are in Russia defending Russia. The UA is the aggressor.

If anybody wants to argue that democracy and self-determination can be practiced only in the West, you are welcome to it as long as there are no Russians around. They may get a hernia from laughter...

I assure you that if Ukraine occupied Crimea, it would also be able to organize a referendum in which everyone would support the annexation of Crimea to Ukraine.

CDL

Those who say that and then can't comment on 3 and and X are dumb as a box of hair.

Just like those who uncritically believe RT when the person in charge of RT is on record as supporting "Total Information Control"...

Change my mind....

Two years ago, a war broke out in Ukraine that was supposed to last 3 days. It continues to this day. How much longer?

pawian
24 Feb 2024  #1916

How much longer?

Until Russia collapses and disintegrates like the USSR. United Russia will always remain a threat to the world.

From the 'putain had no reason to have navalny killed because he wasn't a threat' dept:

Navalny's mother given choice: secret funeral with no public element or he gets buried in the camp

he's still making putain nervous

Ukraine had Crimea and could have organized a self-determination referendum but didn't. The UN could have organized one but didn't.

Why?

BTW, do you have any evidence that the voters who voted to stay as Ukraine were in any way punished by Russia at any time?
