Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 9

mafketis

illegal to carry out negotiations with Russia.

why negotiate with proven liars?

"negotiations with Russia are meaningless"

Now you're getting it!!!!!

what formula can we then discuss?

russian withdrawal from the borders of Ukraine.

Why is that so difficult?

What has russia accomplished so far? What does it hope to accomplish by continuing?

russian withdrawal from the borders of Ukraine.

The Russian army is in Russia. It's the UA that is the aggressor in D and L.

@Novichok

What about X and 3? You dont' even know what I'm talking about, you're uninformed and useless.... silly old moron..... I would have thought someone might tell

500,000 Ukrainians never found it funny.

And you love the country that killed them.

Reflect on that.... if you're capable.

I looked up "nonsense" and "moron" and found this in Webster:

As I said I'm willing to accept your unconditional surrender.

As I said I'm willing to accept your unconditional surrender.

You will have to wait a long time.

Here's what I'm waiting for:

1) For the Verkhovna Rada to stop sh*tting its pants, and finally put the mobilization law to a vote. Mobilization has been a political hot potato in Ukraine over the last 2-3 months. Zelensky said that Zaluzhny requested 500K men. Zaluzhny said he can in no way affect mobilization, since he's a soldier, and that this is a job for the Rada. The Rada, when presented with the initial draft of the law, balked at voting on it. That's how toxic it is. Zelensky's rubber stamp parliament, where his party holds an overwhelming majority, doesn't want to vote on his law.

2) I'm waiting for Ukraine to start printing money. Yesterday, Lord Cameron said that the West must urgently fund Ukraine, so that Ukraine doesn't have to turn the money printing machine on. My feeling is that the funds that are coming, will be short, and Ukraine will have to print money. Then all the jokes about "the ruble has turned to rubble", will not seem so funny any more.

3) I'm waiting for Ukraine to raise taxes, and cut pensions and salaries to state employees.

4) I'm waiting for Trump to win in November.

5) I'm waiting for Tusk, Orban, and Fico to block the extension of the EU's trade restriction removal on Ukraine (EU wants to extend by another year). Tusk already said he will work to block it, which was honestly a surprise.

4) I'm waiting for Trump to win in November.

yes, we know, stinking putinists count on his pro Russian agenda.
BTW, amazing what American society has come to. Trump voters can rightfully be called homo sovieticuses.

Tusk already said he will work to block it

Tusk lies often, so I'm not sure what he will do at the end. But that would be a good thing if he would keep his word this time.

You will have to wait a long time.

I will be gracious about it, I promise.

There is a big chance that Russia will lose this war as those factors can play both ways and there few other factors that play against Russia.

How about your Golden Boy Tusk?

Got nothing to say about him continuing PiS policies on trade with Ukraine?

You think this is just until the June elections to EU parliament?

continuing PiS policies on trade with Ukraine?

Not so fast. Step by step. Truck drivers already suspended their blockade of the border.

There is a big chance that Russia will lose this war

Smartly, you didn't say what "will lose" would be so I will help you with the outcome:

1. Russia will keep CDL.
2. Ukraine will not be in NATO during your lifetime.

If you wish to call "will lose"...

Novichok
20 Jan 2024  #261

Some readers' comments worth posting here...

First they lie to Russia about Nato expansion, next they do regime change at Russia's border, next they claim Russia is the aggressor, next the war machine stooges use scare tactics on the masses to claim Putin will annex E.U. next, then they push for more weapons sales as demanded by the warmongers/defense industry stooges. Nothing but a defense profits scam, just like the WMDs scam, $$$$ follow the money.

NATO is the problem. Stop expanding and you won't have to worry about the Russians. When Russia offered to join NATO they were rejected. This was done for a reason, the warmongers in the MIC need an enemy to keep making obsolete weapons.

The second one is so brilliant I wish I wrote it...

Actually, I already did...and not just once...Me, a genius.

Novichok
20 Jan 2024  #262

One more...

Yep, all the more reason that this country needs to get out of NATO and should have many many years ago! If we leave NATO, these goofy European countries are going to have to make friends cuz US soldiers do not want to die overseas anymore. 600,000 in WW2 was enough.

6 US soldiers is 6 too many to die for Euro morons.

I still celebrate - sorry, I meant I feel so sad about the dead Frenchmen who didn't read my posts before "volunteering" to fight for other guys' "freedom and democracy".

You should have stayed home and bang American tourists.

@jon357
The gap between rich and poor should be more appropriately labeled the gap between those who work hard and those who do not work. With Smaller caveat definitions underneath like; those who choose to not work and collect welfare, and those that move back in with their parents because they cannot control their own spending, and those that make stupid investments into unproven ideas and lose everything along with all their credit. If the American way wasnt working, this war would have been over before it started because Ukraine would have gotten nothing from the US. We know, you hate Americans but love their money and military when it suits you. Its expected.

And now just this morning Secretary Blinken says "if Congress fails to authorize additional military aid for Ukraine in the coming days, Russia could win the war in a matter of weeks - months at best"

So once again I ask, if the US is not needed then who TF from Europe is going to step up? All the PF socialists must be in ther garages making missiles and drones to drive over to Ukraine by the Skoda full. Dont look now, but Japan and South Korea are also watching what the US does, and if the US pulls out, they will too.

Still Z refuses full mobilization. The ground is frozen and things could really be moving in a winter offensive, so why no mobilization. Meanwhile a friend of mine who is living in Kiev, just showed me photos of his newly finished apartment and the micro brew pub down stars that will deliver beer to apartments in the building after curfew in order to keep the party going.

Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia agreed on Friday to set up a common Baltic defense zone on their borders with Russia and Belarus amid growing security concerns.

politico.eu/article/latvia-lithuania-estonia-common-defense-zone-russia-border-security-concerns/

Estonia

Estonia alone will build 600 bunkers along their border with Russia. There are also common plans regarding the use of rocket artillery and missiles.

The Baltics... building... a Maginot Line... omg... 0_0

Of course, it would be brilliant if they could hold the line at least for a couple of days, so that we could flood reinforcements through the SuwaƂki Gap rather than having to reconquer all three states ourselves. Is it just me or is WW3 approaching a little bit faster?

A lot of things people thought were a thing of the past, are making a comeback.

It shows how important this war is to shaping 21st century military thinking.

There are no dead Frenchmen Novi - it was made up by the guys sitting on the next floor up to you

They are even going through the farce of asking France to apologize

dailymail.co.uk/wires/reuters/article-12983115/Russian-parliament-challenge-French-assembly-French-mercenaries-Ukraine.html

As for flooding the Suwalki gap - LOL that sounds about as likely as the well prepared attack on Kiev airport by Udmurtia's best troops - the ones who bring no ammo, no GPS and no fuel.

A lot of things people thought were a thing of the past, are making a comeback.

Yes, a ground war in the European landmass is not the same as bombing the sh*t out of some goat f*ckers or chasing partisans in Afghan mountains. However, a lot of new things are being introduced too.

It shows how important this war is to shaping 21st century military thinking.

Definitely! Polish military brains are working like computers, some of them overheating ha ha. Luckily we had our Armia Nowego Wzoru program and "Active Defense" strategy long before the war started. Of course, adjustments have been made to both and the analysis is still an ongoing process but at least the treasure chest with gold seems to have been unblocked for army financing ever since the war started.

American academics at West Point and the US Army War College are saying as much now.

America is realizing, that 20 years of counter-insurgency operations has left them unprepared for peer-level conflicts. In their defense, there were many reasons to think that a war with peer or near-peer countries would never happen again.

In Russia, there is non-stop post-action analysis now. Something Ukraine is not nearly as good at, from what I can tell. Over the past year, it has been us that have been learning faster and implementing changes faster. The Russian army today, and the Russian army in Feb 2022 are two different beasts.

While I don't have a very high opinion of Gerasimov, it is already clear that several of the younger senior officers working under him have the potential to become the generational thinkers that their predecessors were.
