It looks as though we are about to lose yet another one - the war in Ukraine.

My limited knowledge leads me to the conclusion that the US Army wins and the DC bureaucrats fvck things up.
The worst example of this nonsense was in Vietnam where the US pilots were given a list of prohibited targets. This turned a winnable war into police action.

Another civilian fvckup took place in Iraq.

The war in which 500,000 post-Soviet citizens and 3 Americans died is not lost from America's point of view.

It can easily be argued that the US wins the war, and then simply stays too long when looking at the middle east conflicts. Staying too long meaning the US president and the MIC simply wont allow themselves the win and leave. They think they need to stay and determine the fate of those countries, when they should determine their own fate. A US style of government is not for everyone, and the US should stop trying to force it on people who dont want it.

Ukraine is getting a whole bunch of weapons before the end of the week now. A new WSJ report shows they got ATACMS in February and have been using them. So, aparently they are getting more, and they have only used them so far on the front line positions. Meanwhile, even CNN is having to start telling the truth of the battlefield conditions. More reports of Russian advances on Ukraine defensive positions, and more reports of a lack of Ukraine manpower.

I think I started on the lack of Ukraine manpower rant about six months ago. Had Z actually done something about this, we would be at a time where all those men would have been trained by now and ready to take to the field. That in my opinion is a complete failure to lead and act on relevant information from the battlefield. In most countries, someone making these terrible decisions would be removed from their position.
