There's a reason the control rooms have metre thick walls. They certainly aren't designed to be shelled, and the fire systems aren't designed to keep them running; they're designed to minimise loss of life. Once an oil terminal is shelled, it basically has to be cleared and rebuilt. The war will be over before they can do half of that.

There were many Russians begging for their lives when they were in German concentration camps so I am not surprised that Nacitus expects Russia to beg for ammo.

The Battle of Kyiv might as well been 100 years ago. The Russians wisely placed very experienced fighters in leadership positions of new recruit units. They are making much smarter tactical decisions. And also are provided with unit organic fpv drone ability.

We repeatedly see the Russians incrementally make small gains they use to outflank and cut off Ukrainian units. Forcing withdrawals and subsequent advances to fill those vacated gaps. Methodical, cogent and well orchestrated with other units. Things they did not do early in the war. They rarely make stupid advances as they used to do. And have learned to fortify positions for their safety; and to have defense to fall back to if a new advance goes badly.

It is amazing that Ukraine is flinging very heavy reinforcements at relatively green recon troops led by senior combat hardened veterans. Supported by a few special forces units and artillery. Everytime some pro-Ukie claims they destroy a Russian tank in the Lipsky/Vovchansk salient; it always turns out to be a BMP-3/-4. Very few tanks seem to be there

Or the silly "400 Russians trapped" fairy tale that got repeated this week. Which depicts an event from May 30th!!!! Meanwhile Ukraine is getting slammed on the east. Google "7 minutes of dead Ukrainians" if you do not believe it. All dead in one battle. Very graphic though.
