My complaint is consistent. Tusk's statements are just hot air. Europe should have been preparing for decades. Tusk knows this, and so does everyone else. Yet he and other were happy to rely on the US. Now that the US is about to tell some countries to fvck off, Tusk wants to try to make a statement on the US? His words are as meaningful as his promise on abortion rights for women.

No argument but the status quo was also comfortable for the US which didn't necessarily want the bigger European countries militarizing (esp Germany).
