I can tell you that opinion on Trump was 50/50 in the UK as it is in the US.But since last Friday's bullying of Zelensky it has probably gone to 85/15 against him.

When the US and Russia are enemies, Euros matter as every little bit adds to the US' strength. For their contribution they can extract concessions from the US or collect fees.
