Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 19

...a man who thinks that the fall of Soviet Union was a great tragedy....

Not only that....the time of Stalin sitting as equal with the "big three", during and shortly after defeating Nazi-Germany, must have felt as their bestest time of all, considering what came afterwards.

Putin wants to revive it....he needs Nazis for it though...

Russia guaranteed the inviolability of Ukrainian borders

Re-read that memorandum, please. Who and what "guarantee" there?

You will, of course, forgive me if I fail to tremble with fear. :)

No problem. We would prefer friendly independent poland as a neighbour, but if "business first" will act harshly, "pleasure" will come to protect what will be possible from their acts of violence. ;)

Russia guaranteed the inviolability of Ukrainian borders and then

... and then happened Maiden and nazification what ended Ukrainian neutrality and turned it against Russia. You know what happened then and still happening.

OK...

The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Convention Center with U.S. Ambassador Donald M. Blinken amongst others in attendance,[3] prohibited Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, "except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations." Russia breached the Budapest memorandum in 2014 with its annexation of Ukraine's Crimea.

... and then came the full-scale invasion.

We would prefer friendly independent poland as a neighbour

And we would be absolutely delighted with a friendly, still-in-one-piece, Russia as a neighbour. You are the biggest Slavic country with the largest nuclear arsenal and territory in the world. You should be our big brother not a bully. So you better mend your ways or Курица не птица will get angry and lay some eggs from which Żółkiewski, Chodkiewicz and Piłsudski may hatch. ;)

ended Ukrainian neutrality and turned it against Russia

Oh, so it was Ukraine who invaded Russia?

Thank you for the dates and photos. Remember the video of Putin on Bush's ranch in Texas as they drove around just checking out the property?

Oh wow, I'm getting an impression that PolAm is liking the idea of Trump and Putin being buddies.

An interesting map - it looks like a vertical Eastern strip of Europe is the most likely to defend their countries (btw, Italy... lol):

BS. You cannot annex your own territory. Crimea voted to separate from Ukraine and join Russia.

Don't like the results? Eat shlt...

will act harshly

A Russian victory in Ukraine would be followed by massacres that would make Katyn look like a tea party. We saw what they did at Bucha and Mariupol.

This cannot and will not be allowed to happen.

Shut the f*ck up, Novi, you American dog,

Would you care to comment on my Post 1536? A reminder:

You cannot annex your own territory. Crimea voted to separate from Ukraine and join Russia.

Ask Velund or Bobko if you think that it is incorrect.

The Crimean massacre was caught on tape in 2015.

Here it is:

Don't be deceived by the smiling faces. Those are holographic images of the victims of Russia's persecution.

Memo to PF Russians: Never, ever let your enemies ignore the referenda.

With them, they have no case, no invasion, no attack,...nothing...that's why the m-fers want to delegitimize them. But not the one in Kosovo. Clever...

Remember the video of Putin on Bush's ranch in Texas

Famous visit.

Putin requested that Bush bring his dad along. He had immense respect for Bush Sr., who prior to the vice presidency and presidency had been head of the CIA. Putin later said meeting Bush Sr. was one of the highlights of his life.

Biggest nonsense was to say how every country have sovereign right to enter NATO and that non have right to complain.

Of course that countries, including Russia, have right to respond. You enter alliance that is hostile on me? Fine, who gives a sh*t for your borders.

Oh, so it was Ukraine who invaded Russia?

EU invaded Ukraine and country ceased to be neutral.

No, they aren`t. That is why they demand summaries from maniacs. Simple.

Things really soured between the Russian and American presidents, when Putin returned to replace Medvedev.

Obama let everyone know he was not happy. Made all sorts of noises about how Medvedev was a good partner for him, and deserved a chance at a second term.

Obama and Medvedev did really get along famously. Medvedev went on a whole tour of America, which included a meeting with Steve Jobs where the businessman gave Medvedev a new model iPhone (Medvedev is a famous gadget lover).

Putin didn't appreciate Obama throwing so much weight behind Medvedev, and saw it as interference in Russian affairs.

When Putin returned, Obama started giving him the cold shoulder and making all kinds of insults in Russia's direction (he called us a regional power at some point).

when Putin returned to replace Medvedev.

This prehistory better suits history thread. Here we are dealing with current affairs. Namely, will Ukrainians be able to make enough compost of Russian meat so that the Kremlin army rebels against its cruel masters before the end of Golden Cow Trump "negotations" ???

Ha!!! That`s some mystery worth discussing.

Bobko

the Kremlin army rebels against its cruel masters

There is some recent data on the volume of Russian desertions.

It seems that about 5% of the total deployed force had gone AWOL at some point.

This is roughly the same as for American troops in Vietnam, and a smaller figure than the equivalent for Ukraine. Some sources claim Ukraine's figure is 20%.

So... not much indication of a collapse in morale.

You don't see a lot of Ukrainian soldiers blowing their heads off before capture or after injury. Meanwhile there's a huge amount of video documentation of Russian soldiers killing themselves with grenades or shots to the head after being fatally injured or near capture. This is a strong indicator of good morale and esprit de corps. Same with the North Koreans. One of the two they captured, when he knew he was about to captured and was out of ammunition - ran headfirst at a tree and knocked himself out.

Ukraine doesn't have the same proportion of persons willing to die.

What sources?

lol
In my opinion it's a strong indicator of how brainwashed RuSSian soldiers are - they're probably afraid that Ukrainians will do terrible things to them. If that's even true, of course.

Ukraine doesn't have the same proportion of persons willing to die.

Yes, they prefer to fight for their country and live lol Did you see the map I posted?:

Russian soldiers killing themselves with grenades or shots to the head

BS. It isn`t them who kill themselves. It is their mates who do it for them! There are tens of reports proving it! Russian commanders order their soldiers to murder the wounded so that they don`t fall into Ukrainian hands.

E.g, we can see it in dozens of videos showing Russian vehicles driving over their soldiers and retreating without any thought of saving the wounded.

Why would they do that? They would be better off in Ukrainian captivity than in the russian army.

It's a sign your country has turned into a death cult....

5 Mar 2025  #1557

Why would they do that?

It's my understanding they were instructed to and they might want to go out on their own since russians have a habit of killing wounded (or keep sending them back to the front until they don't come back anymore).

I can kind of understand shooting yourself and getting it over rather than waiting for your comrades to do it...

x.com/ChrisO_wiki/status/1888227050500010449

And a more extensive example of the russian death cult in all its malignant stench....

You missed the whole point . What I meant in the future conflict is that if it comes to that, our so-called allies would probably provide lip service and nothing more.
Exactly the way they behaved during WW2. No Belgian, Potugie, Italian, or Greek would willingly offer their lives to defend Poland, And Poland is coursed with a geographical position that Red Army tanks will roll through our flat countryside. Putin already indicated a willingness to use nukes, and for sure, when an existential
threat presents itself. Which is certain. With the weakness shown on the Ukrainian front, nukes are Putin's only card, and you can bet you'r behind he will use them.
Don't count on the French or British nuclear umbrella; learn from history. Slavic unity is our only card,Easy to ignore fragmented small countries, and a lot tougher
to ignore the Slavic Union with the addition of Hungry and Baltic States.
