Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 24

How would the US react to the Warsaw Pact expansion to include Mexico. Duh!

Mexico don't want it. They would gain nothing. And guess what. Cuba had an alliance with the USSR. Got 5 times more than the Marshall Plan in subsidies from the Soviets. It has still become a shithole, so sh!t that not even Haitians wanted to live there.

The reality is: NATO only existed due to Soviet atrocities in Eastern Europe and the fear of it expanding to the west. And it was only expanded as a result of RU aggression. And KGB Dwarf is the best NATO salesman ever.
f NATO was honest, the US would invite Russia to talk about NATO's plans, and specifically how far it wants to expand ...and no farther.

Russia butthurt about NATO expansion, is no different than a kidnapper getting butthurt because his former victims that managed to break free are now with private security to avoid being kidnapped again. Why, let kidnapped decide if his victims acquire protection or not?

Come on... please.

I admit that I wrote this to elicit a reaction.

However, I suspect one member of the Polish government to be some kind of Russian secret services puppet. Can you guess which one?

Mexico don't want it.

What a moronic response...

Hey, genius, Cuba did and Venezuela might...Duh!

The question is: What would the US do today if an enemy like China started a military base in Panama. They could bribe Panama or just buy it.

And it was only expanded as a result of RU aggression.

the fear of it expanding to the west.

Not only are you stupid but a liar, too...

The USSR and later Russia never expanded West. It's the Western warmongers that lied in 1990 and expanded East.

NATO only existed due to Soviet atrocities in Eastern Europe

Bullshlt! There were no Soviet atrocities in Eastern Europe. Unless free education and healthcare is an atrocity to you...

I know. I Iived in Eastern Europe. After the war we were poor just like everybody else in Europe. BFD! Nobody died from starvation and there were no "unhoused" people so nobody froze to death. Today, in the richest country on Earth, there are 800,000 homeless Americans...

But we sure had billions for Zhole and the scum from all over the world ... future Demohole voters...

How The Fu*ck I am supposed to know? Some sanctions, I'd guess.
There were no Soviet atrocities in Eastern Europe.

Denying soviet atrocities is a huge disrespect to those who suffered from it. Typical Russia' shill disgusting response. For example, no British nationalist would ever deny that what British did during the opium war and with India during WW2 was atrocious. They would say that they wanna the good of it distancing from the bad and recognizing as an mistake. Russian shills on the other hands deny all soviet atrocities and at paradoxically the victims deserved to suffer from it.
If Russia didn't want NATO at them borders they should just stop giving reasons for its neighbors to seek NATO protection. BTW, Sun Tzu in the art of war argues that war is unpredictable and should be the last resort. Russia had many ways to prevent Ukraine ascension into NATO without a direct war.

You are not supposed to know because you are just another dumb Russia-hating Polak...

I do know because I am a genius who can predict the past with a 100 percent accuracy...

One day, when the US will feel that Iraq is planing to have WMDs, the US will invade Iraq and cause 200,000 civilian deaths...

Later, the US will try to export "freedom and democracy" to Vietnam where they will have to bury 84,000. I am talking children, not VCs with AKs.

The "evil" Russian army killed 669 kids and saved many more...hence the arrest warrant for Putin, but not for any of the US warmongers....

Denying soviet atrocities is a huge disrespect to those who suffered from it.

Did you suffer? Did I suffer? Nobody I have ever met suffered and I met a lot of people before I left in 1966.

Russian shills on the other hands deny all soviet atrocities

Name those "atrocities". If you don't have numbers, STFU.

Brilliant. There are many idiots who can predict the future but predicting the past takes a Novi-scale genius. :)

Renata/Ryszard says "name those atrocities".

Anyone can name a particularly evil one. An appalling crime. First letter K.

Służewiec Racecourse was also a bad place to be during the early post-war period.

do russians do anything but fail?

Moscow-Berlin match is, for example, 3:0, russians win.

russians win.

But who lives better afterward.... average russians (who live at least 300 kms from Moscow or St Pete) or average Germans?

Nobody I have ever met suffered and I met a lot of people before I left in 1966.

But you have admitted yourself that you came from family of traitors, who collaborated with the soviets, and then escaped to the West anyway.

Just 30 km from Moscow there is stench, dirt and poverty.

Ask Volga/kazakh germans that after repatriation in 1990's returns to Russia en masse last years (mostly to former East Prussia and Saratov region).

Just 30 km from Moscow there is stench, dirt and poverty.

Just 30 km from Moscow you can find quite expensive cottage complexes and exorbitant land prices.

Gas blackmail, puppet president in nato members. Same for "nazis", Russia could just demanded that Ukraine send this "nazis" to be under trial in Hague.

If you read the Art of war from Sun Tzu, you will know that if the enemy has no option but resist with everything, they will resist with everything.

For example, a enemy which CAN retreat if losing will attempt to retreat. A enemy which if surrender will be tortured, humiliated and then executed WILL not retreat and will resort to things like suicidal attack which in normal circumstances are only performed by religious zealots. Even if they are defeated, they will become Martyrs. People will make movies about how Azov battalion resisted by X days against overwhelming forces.

how Azov battalion resisted by X days against overwhelming forces.

Azov was not a batallion that days, and it was held Azovstal factory, that had enormous complex of underground facilities since soviet times.

Frantsevo (Францево) is a village in the Pervomaysky District, Tomsk Oblast. It is part of the Komsomolsk selo.

History

The village was historically served by the Komsomol Narrow Gauge Rail, until its destruction by the logging company that owned it in 2015.

In 2015, its population was reported at 97 people, down from 104 in 2012.

Road trip time from Moscow - 44 h 45 min (3 792 km)

PS: Dying village in forests, where forest was recultivated and in nearest 30-40 years not expected many workplaces around.

Russia told the US warmongers to stay put 1794 times since 1990.

They didn't.

Now Russia owns 20% of U and gaining more every day...Bravo! I am so proud...

BTW, what did the US gain from liberating Kuwait?

and 200 years.

200 years of what?

200 years is approx. 4 cycles of rebuilding and dying of such villages, that prosper while there is enough matured trees around, and then almost die until pine seedlings matured enough to restart "harvesting" cycle.

jon357

Most villages don't die and have to be rebuilt. Some have the same buildings and families for hundreds of years.

The massive summer offensive ended with basically 0 meaningful gains for Russia. Their economy is in freefall - they can't even hide it anymore, most of major oil/gas companies took massive hits this year, profits are down 60-70% on them compared to 2024, that's hundreds of billions Russia is bleeding. Transportation business is down too, railways are straight up losing money staying operational at this point, because the volume of goods is so low, not to mention banks being on the verge of collapse and preparing to seek emergency bailouts. Even arms manufacturing which is where they put 99% of their money and focus, is slowing down in 2025, since they simply have no money anymore to sustain it. The house of cards is falling, and Putin knows it very well, even with him legalizing cooking financial data after the invasion, the cracks are too big to hide now.

This summer was their last chance, one last desperate try to change the outcome, but at this point it completely failed. The meeting with Trump, the talk about allowing peacekeeping forces and meeting Zelensky, shows they're clearly moving to end the war now. There is still a lot of posturing, but the shift is very noticeable. At least I'm 100% sure this will be the intention of the Russians, because they can't sustain it any longer. Only thing stopping the peace agreement at this point, might be Zelensky/West willing to continue the fighting, to get better terms, since they probably very much feel they're the ones in the position of power now.

It seems China, Russia, and India hope to dominate the world by uniting against the US / the West. The truth is, people are not stupid. The Eastern, God-less regime is never going to dominate the world, no matter how hard they try. And these three countries don't even trust one other.

Velund

Most villages don't die and have to be rebuilt.

This particular village is a "base" of "forest harvesters", that come while there is work and then recultivate forests by adding seedlings where necessary and move to other places after no more work here. People who stay is either retired former workers who choose to live there, either various hunters, ginseng harvesters, etc, etc.

Life in a such village without some additional external income source will be at level approx. comparable to 18 century.

6 Sep 2025  #1107

Maybe there it would.

This summer was their last chance, one last desperate try to change the outcome

If that. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place. They try to look for weakness in others yet all they see is strength.

Latest word is that NKorea's ready to send a lot more troops. This sounds like China, which really wants to keep things going to distract the West from its expansionist plans (though recent Peter Zeihan video says they have.... pretty much no chance at expanding in the Pacific, I don't know about that FYI only.

Other gossip is that the russian government is done and intends to stop active hostilities and is just trying to put as much pressure on the US and Ukraine as possible so it won't look like a massive defeat.

Street level reports from russia indicate the economy is..... not flourishing (and there is the specter of food shortages coming up which was certainly not on moscow's bingo card when they began this sorry exercise.

Final lesson: Unaccountable dictatorship is the worst form of government possible.
