Look - I really don't think Trump is a "Russian asset".

If someone came to Trump - say from the Pentagon, or State Department - and said, "Mr. President - by supplying weapons and intelligence to Ukraine in more meaningful quantities, we are able to end the war by January," - Trump would have snapped that offer up.

He would look like ten times the statesman Biden was. The positive glow over defeating Russia, would outshine any positive coverage from a successful bombing run on Iran. Europe would be carrying Trump around on their shoulders - and he very well may have been nominated for a Nobel Prize.

So then, what gives? What's the problem?

Perhaps the problem is that your central thesis is flawed.

Perhaps, the CIA, NSA, DoD, NSC, and every other three-letter agency actually understands something that CMS Neuf does not? Maybe, smarter people than you, or at least people more in command of the facts, have decided that no quantity of weapons or intelligence can actually turn this war around in Ukraine's favor?

Putin's plane landed in Alaska!

This is why I wrote that it was "Putin's plane", because it's not clear that he's on board. Yesterday, an executive order was published by the White House that temporarily lifted certain sanctions, which allowed Russians to do various prep work in Anchorage.

Today, Ushakov, the former US ambassador that is helping Putin prep for the meeting - said that everyone is gonna go home straight after the meeting. That is, no dinner plans or overnight stay tomorrow. Which means... that if Putin is to spend any time in the States (his first time in 20 years), his only chance is gonna be tonight.

But again, it's not clear he was on that plane.

The other thing that people find curious, is that the meeting is at an Air Force base. Allegedly, because this was the only place that could ensure the necessary security on such short notice.

So, presidential hotel suites, or famous mansions are ruled out.

Does that mean Putin will sleep on some couch in the mess hall? Will he sleep on his plane? Is the navy gonna park some boat offshore so he can sleep there?

Kind of crazy also, that the US is letting a Russian president fly into the largest airbase for American F-22s! If our presidential plane is full of various spy equipment, it could try to snoop on how American's run things at this base.
