Because Putin is mental is not an acceptable answer, even between mental patients. Don't do that....

1.Russia sees Poland as one of it's territories.
2.Russia believes it needs border countries to protect itself from the west.(As in the past).
3.Russia thinks that Poland's military build up is a threat, especially if they decide to attack The Baltic States.
4.Russians think that they are superior to Poles.
5.Russians overestimate their military power, as has been proved in Ukraine.
