Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 29

Ironside

That's how

What are you talking about? Symbols, feeling , wring and wrongs?
Who cares?
If they are pursuing policy we don't like, Poland should select some leverage we have over them to pressure they into taking it serums. whinging, acting hurt and making noise about medal nobody cares about, is not the way to go.
Nobody ask you to love Z and his cabinet, so your thoughts and feeling about them are inrevelant.

What does Russia want from Poland, Milo?

Torq, are you a complete moron? They want what Russia has always wanted from Poland and Eastern/Central Europe.... SUBMISSION!

Submission

I saw your post after I wrote mine.... you are spot on!!

What form of submission are you referring to? When were such demands allegedly made

Looks like you are a moron.....Submission to suposed Russian superiority, and as for when, for centuries....

They see Poland as a colony or part of their sphere of influence

Exactly.

Ukrainians are no more trustworthy than the Russians.

Another bloody moron!

All this talk about Poles v Ukes is pathetic and self defeating....those of you that have feelings against Ukes, how do you feel about Germans now??
Please get things into perspective!

Anyway, meanwhile Russia is fvcked part 198.

On topic, apparently it's not only the petrol and diesel that's run out in occupied Crimea, but also they can't keep the electricity going now. More explosions in. the r*SSian heartland too.

A nice article here though probably nothing that people here haven't seen anyway. Though still nice.
In the four years since Russia's invasion began, Ukraine has developed a booming defence sector. It has rapidly developed its mid-and long-range drone capabilities and is now offering advice and expertise to allies around the world.
bbc.com/news/articles/clyx2lk9d15o

And off topic
or the farmers to James Herriot.

True, however that's a sparsely-populated place with a very different accent and dialect, albeit part of the same 'sprachbund'..And Jim Dwight who wrote the Herriot books didn't even live there; he was in the flat part where the military and air force bases are. A lovely bit of countryside however if Putler gets even crazier, it will be glowing in that town.

from Yorkshire

Born in Yorkshire and born in Scotland simultaneously (really) rather like Schrodinger's Skner. Just back in Poland from there today and ears still hurting from all the Scouse sounds at John Lennon Airport.

Nobody ask you to love Z and his cabinet

No, not love - just finance them and help them remain in power.

Has it ever occured to you, Iron, that Ukraine may be in the same dire need of regime change as Russia is? Don't you ever think that banderite quasi-fascist rampant nationalism can be as bad as aggressive putinist imperialism?

those of you that have feelings against Ukes, how do you feel about Germans now?

Do Germans name their units "Heroes of SS Totenkopf"? Do they have Adolf Hitler streets, Eichmann Squares and monuments of Goebbels? No? Thank you, I have no more questions.

@jon357

You have a very balanced and fair approach to this issue but you, like a lot of other people here, seem not to notice the dangers of Ukrainian impudent nationalism and cult of genicide perpetrators. It's worrying.

Meanwhile..... russia attacked an agricultural enterprise in Odesa with an Iskander missile, killing one.

Ukrainian impudent nationalism

All neo-nationalism is dangerous, Torq. For those who like it, neo-nationalists in the richer and more privileged country, the one that's not being invaded by the worst country in the world, are the ones who should put conflict on hold. When this is over, they can go to town with it all.

russia attacked an agricultural enterprise

And by all accounts trying to build up orcs outside Kostyantynivka.

The good news is that no freight of any sort, fuel, food, medicine etc, is now reaching occupied Crimea. Orcs, the door is that way.

When this is over, they can go to town with it all.

It will never be over it will merely become a frozen conflict. the arguments will be the same. what you are proposing is the truth telling and reconciliation process is put off indefinitely. And it will be too late for exhumation and Christian burial of genocide victims, because all that land will be AI data centres.

neo-nationalists in the richer and more privileged country,

yes the hitler worship and mass gypsy/pedał hunting seems to have been phased out in poland,

jon357

the truth telling and reconciliation process

There isn't one, evidently.

yes the hitler worship and mass gypsy/pedał hunting seems to have been phased out in..

Unfortunately the Mentzens. Nawrockis, Korwins and Brauns haven't.

Iron, that Ukraine may be in the same dire need of regime change as Russia..

Sure, but that escapism. Talking big and still stuck in the same rut.
We need to have our policies and understanding of politicks changed, otherwise nothing will come of it.
There are people who know how to do it but they are not in power and their chance of getting there are rather slim. The Republic suffer being ruled by incompetent infighting cliques, organization i.e. Constitutions also doesn't provide any solid fundaments for a steady rule.
Those need to be sorted out in the fist place.
Your talk about regime change in Ukraine, while Tusk and others endorse them is funny. You and you party are doing it. What are you doing? Talking big political fantasy.
If Poland would have had such ability, there wouldn't be any strife or conflict with Ukraine in the first place.
You can exert pressure on your collages in the party to stop supporting Tusk BS propaganda blaming Nawrocki, you can leave that rotten party or you can stop pretend that you are that principled.
-----
ationalism can be as bad as aggressive putinist imperialism?

It could be a good turning point with our relations with Russia, since Ukraine turned to be more of a parasite than an ally, then their very existence would give Poland and Russia staring point in renewed relations.

Tell me more, what do you think would have happend?

Don't you ever think that banderite quasi-fascist rampant nationalism can be as bad as aggressive putinist imperialism?

The former doesn't exist at present, so of course it's not a bad as putinism, which does...

I don't care about it. I care about overall political landscape in Ukraine and their policies. We are not obliged to muddlecodle them.

We are not obliged to muddlecodle them.

Of course not and they don't need that.

They just shut down the summer tourist season in Crimea....

Exactly. They are winning. They don't need our help anymore

They do need our help - they will have a democracy to rebuild and an economy to rebuild. This was a great opportunity for Poland (and for the mature people who pay taxes, employ workers etc)

It's being sabotaged by the right wing voter base in Poland - the old, the rural and the unemployed. Like so many other times since 2015

They just shut down the summer tourist season in Crimea....

Apparently, some of those foolish holidaymakers are stuck there, unable to buy fuel to leave.

What possessed them to go on holiday to an occupied war zone?

And of course if genocide, thermobaric bombs and £400 million a year trying to influence western opinion don't work, there's always witchcraft:

Yes, indeed. Just ask the people at Control Process S.A., who built Lwów's municipal waste-processing plant, how promising the opportunities for Polish companies in Ukraine really are.

the right wing voter base in Poland - the old, the rural and the unemployed

I am neither right-wing, nor particularly old, nor rural, nor unemployed, and yet I have my reservations as well.

They don't because they are embarrassed by their Nazi past. That does not apply to Ukraine.

Good to have you back Milo

The NN are preparing a provocation against the Baltics and Poland - so we sill see some intellectual contortions from that naive enough to think that murderous dictators are no threat to Poland

Good news is that potato head in Bialorus has dismantled the NN's forward communications and is effectively declaring he's out of the war,

Also note that the "real life in North Nigeria" youtubers have all disappeared, in some cases saying they are going home to deal with sick parents or other made up bullshit. Presumably the NN's have run out of money to pay these Lord Haw Haw scum.

Certainly Bobko is being paid to troll this forum, but I don't get the pro Russian Poles....

Even ordinary Russians are turning against Putin and they are not scared anymore....

Europe should forget about NATO and take advantage of Ukraine's recent successes by supporting them in their attacks on Moscow. Together, they can win the war. Of course, Europe should not be directly involved, but there are other means to do it. Russia is starting to panic, just like America is panicking about possible direct confrontation with Iran.

Europe should not wait for Russia to provoke a NATO member, but be proactive and support Ukraine, which could take Crimea back within a couple of months. Next step for Europe should be their integration with Canada and building a new world order without Amerika.

Yeah, but I think the optics would be great - them floating around like the Vietnamese and relying on Georgian help

Either way it's time for Putler to come to the table. Otherwise someone will shoot him in a school yard same as Ceausescu.

Lavrov can sit in The Hague in his CCCP sweater and

And then screaming at those who rescue them for not speaking russian and calling on the tsar to invade and 'liberate' them....
