I can't see Trump being re-elected. His hard electorate won't be happy with his softening stance on DACA, his failure to build the wall [that I doubt will be built in the end] and other things he promised and has not done.
So far he has cut taxes for the rich [himself included] and moved the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem - hardly things his core part of his voters give much of a sh-t about.
The left obviously won't vote for him in the next election and much of the right, who took a chance and did vote for him, won't vote for him again. I honestly believe he still thinks that people voted him in because they love his personality and will vote for him again. Nobody voted for him because they liked him, they only voted for him on the issues and if he doesn't get them done, he's out.
Of course the left love it because he is at least partially starting to do what they want and since much of his base will now turn on him, it will mean he is a lot less likely to be re-elected.
He is shooting himself in the foot by doing things like this, unless he doesn't want to be at the helm for 8 years? It might be 4 years is more than enough for him? After all, he isn't exactly young.
