However, we have to go through that ordeal to the end. Democracy must be abided to. Secondly, PiS voters have to be made aware of certain facts in order to apply reason at the ballot next time. Will they be able to???? That is the question. :):):)

So, will that mean UK citizens returning for Christmas have to return to Poland no later than 31st December to avoid the quarantine? Covid restrictions and Brexit have really created a headache.

Just like the flu each year COVID will mutate. The flu of last year is not the flu of this year or two years ago. A flu shot is only designed to build the body's immune system to combat the "flu" in general. Its only effective against most types of flu, not all. I would imagine this new type of vaccine is similar in that some mutation is predictable and likely wont change much in the shot's effectiveness.

That said, the whole thing is tedious at this point. At the galleria yesterday it was packed shoulder to shoulder with people. But we want a quarantine in Poland starting the 28th? Absolutely stupid. The leadership of Poland has to be questioned even by the most strong PiS supporters at this point. Still a week to go before the lockdown and what is going to happen? They will stop Sylwester parties? This is the plan? But leave churches open without restrictions? Close the shopping malls after Christmas and boxing day so that everyone can fill the malls again for even more discounted sales?

Meanwhile the "lockdown" is scheduled to end only two days after vaccine begins to get distributed? Anyone think this lockdown is going to end in January? If not, Polands financial position will be below toilet level.

I agree that Poland needs to suspend flights from the UK now as have many other european countries have done .....the danger I suspect will be from Poles living in the UK planning to return for Christmas.....difficult as it is flights need to be suspended otherwise the situation will escalate rapidly with the new virus....its no good the government thinking that ex-pats living in the UK should be allowed to return then suspend flights.....(sort of closing the door after the horse has bolted)....lets hope the government get their act together and fast track their decision making.....

Well, Covid-21 has already been thrown around casually in some news releases and remarks by government officials/doctors so probably, mark my words, this new strain will end up being called covid-21. I'm beginning to think this pandemic actually IS a 'plandemic'
