Good to see low figures. Was nice to get away this week to see some more of Poland has it reopens. Had a few days up Czech/Poland border then couple nights in Wroclaw which was buzzing especially the Thursday bank holiday. I think we need to focus more on hospital admissions rather than positive tests , especially with the vaccine roll out @mafketis

Its was hot 90F 32.2C. I was sweating bullets and couldn't even imagine wearing a mask outside.

Masking, like global warming, will become another religion. If you are an atheist, you are a very bad anti-social person and should be shunned. I can see already how the followers walk around me in stores and parks. To my credit, I always call them stupid or idiotic when asking if I have to wear one - like, "Doctor, do you want me to wear that stupid mask?" 9 out of 10, it was "no, you don't have to".

People are just refusing to get vaccinated and also refusing to wear masks.
I can only imagine when the REQUIRED booster shot comes out this fall how many will show up.

In NJ at least the tests are free,but in Poland I had to pay 120 pln to get tested.I am fully vaccinated as well.

409 pln in Krakow, and $150 to get results in 72 hours in Michigan. Crazy. They have a database of vaccine batches. Easy enough to just look things up. Stupid waste of money for people who have to travel.

I recall someone saying several times in this thread that it is all about Money and Control.
Any travel or healthcare they have you by the nuts to force you to adherence.

You are getting PCR tests,in fact Anti gen/rapid/swab tests are fine.The results are in 15 minutes.In NJ the urgent care literally forced me to sign for PCR test as well for anti gen tests and gave me results in 15 minutes but for PCR they didnt even send me results and probably charged the govt.

In Warsaw under Plac kultury they have 2 tents across each other literally competing for business for tests,I did Anti gen for 120 pln and results in 15 minutes.

Almost all fire houses have a drive by free covid testing stations like this,similar tents are popping up in around Warsaw also.

Yes, things are looking a bit more cheerful virus-wise aren't they? It feels almost like a normal summer except for the mask-wearing indoors. Have you noticed the hybrid thing where people can't be bothered to remove their masks completely and they're walking about outdoors with them strapped under their chins, like fabric Amish beards. Take the bloody thing off! Is it really that much effort to stuff it in your pocket or your bag??
