They offer significant protection, just not 100%.

If they offer 'significant' protection then those who are vaccinated should not unduly worry one way or another. If worry is called for (especially transmission) then the vaccines have failed and we are back to step one....

My own opinion is the vaccines were never intended to be especially effective. They were to give people the illusion of hope until September when governments can shut the economy down again.

That's even more cynical than I am, but I am afraid that your are right. There is nothing the ruling swamp would not do to manipulate the naive and always obedient robots.

We don't need to choose between extremes. Vaccines offer a lot of protection and allow us to lift most restrictions. There are not perfect enough to justify lifting restrictions that are effective yet have no real impact on our lifes like wearing masks in public transportations and nursing homes.

If you use "even one life" rule, you can justify everything. What most refuse to accept is that nothing saves lives - only postpones death.

So the question is this:
Can a society be forced to wear masks against its will because masks increase the average life span? What if that society does not wish to live longer by a couple of months at the expense of quality of life? What if 99% are against the measures that might actually add those few months to the life span, assuming it's true?

I could probably live longer if I avoided all risks, but I do not want that kind of trade. As far as science goes, we already know that keeping kids in the bubble produces very bad results as their immune systems are not sufficiently exercised by exposure to bacteria and viruses.

This is how the term "safetyism" - a new mental disorder seen mostly in women and liberals - was born.

Bottom line: the "scientists" on the payroll of the ruling swamp pose a greater threat to us than this and the future viruses as they allow "democracies" to become soft tyrannies in the few minutes it takes to sign an executive order.

Not everywhere. Sweden has taken a different route than most of other EU countries, which is surprising considering how much Sweden is alligned with the the rest of globalist directives.

That never happened.
biden now claims that the U.S. population is 67% vaccinated, and if this was actually true then it would be very close to meeting Anthony Fucki's original guidelines for herd immunity.

So why all the frantic hype about unvaccinated people ?
