I dont see how blaming russia for covid instead of china is doing you people or poland any good. We are seeing so many articles essentially saying "everyone is going to get Covid" because there is a variant that has finally reached members of the media.

After having avoided it for two years, it is at last sweeping through newsrooms.
But there's no way for journalists to avoid the truth when it's happening to them.
Suddenly it's fact that there's no real way to stop a respiratory virus and maybe we should stop our heroic efforts that destroy so much about our lives in the pursuit of eradicating Covid.

The new variant Omicron does not attack the lungs so what is the real risk of dying from it ?
Does anyone here know ?

My stupid comment aside, I have been saying it from moment one: the best the virus could do is infect all of us right from the beginning. Then the covid Gestapo would be left with nothing to do to us but just watch - just as we watch volcanos, earthquakes, and sunspots.

Listening to scientists means reading the science for yourself and getting multiple viewpoints. That's what I've been doing with Omicron. The reports were conflicting at first, but we are slowly getting a better picture of what's going on, even though the full picture is still emerging.

Those "cases"...In the UK, "cases" are 3 times higher than the last high but deaths are one-tenth. That's a factor of 30 of how unruly the Brits are. No sense of civic duty to cooperate and die. Shame on you...

Not that it makes a big difference, but this "variant" does seem highly transmissible. An associate of mine in the US got it, his wife got it from him, and all three children down to their 2 year old got it. All pretty sick, none in hospital, both adults vaccinated, and both severely over weight. Both adults very close to hospitalization a week ago. Where did they get it? A Blackhawks game is the likely culprit, started feeling ill in less than 48 hours. All will be fine eventually.

Just thinking though. While more contagious, it is also becoming clear it is much less dangerous. So wtf are we not just letting things run their course at this point. Things in Poland look to have peaked, and the rest of Europe looks the same, so why not just let it rip and be done?

Yes, whatever it is, in gets lots of people in a short period of time... the upside is the waves are far shorter (about half as long as previous waves).


I've seen some speculation (medical) that the virus shoots its load to get around the 'vaccines' and doesn't have much left by the time it does that. Also, that it doesn't attack the lungs (as much as previous versions, or hardly at all...).


You're assuming the restrictive (and almost entirely ineffective) policies are about health. Once you let go of that idea things will make more sense.

I will never buy into conspiracy theory. The world leaders are not collectively intelligent enough to organize all of this and pull it off without some of them straying to get more for themselves. Like communism greed will always overtake policy. Poland honestly hasn't been bad this time around. Other than indoor mask mandates its not been a problem, and until NYE police werent even enforcing those mandates.

Then continue to be confused by how all these stupid bumblers have managed to acquire massive amounts of wealth and increased power for themselves over the last two years while smart and capable you.... have not.

I have had a very profitable pandemic. Don't assume. I made money just on the zloty going from 3.65 to well over 4 at some points. Making nearly 10% just on currency and doing nothing more is pretty damn good. Banks cant offer that kind of return.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a live International hotline we could call to ask the "scientists" questions about Covid ?
Mine would be, "If we have already had Covid, you people claim we are 27 times more protected than getting a Covid vaccination......now you are telling us we still must get the vaccination. You also claim that "herd immunity' will happen when the majority have caught Covid. So if we have already had Covid then why do we need the vaccine since we are supposed to have herd immunity ?"

4th dose is just a waste. This is a fading virus and a fading vaccine. All it is, is a matter of timing the vaccine to wear off after the virus has weakened to a point where it cant kill lots of people. Its a time problem now more than anything and governments simply still are not prepared to weather the storm.
