today's numbers (along with occasional helpful context)
An early victim of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is apparently the pandemic.... remember it?
15.4 % positive results out of 42,700 tests... fewer tests usually mean a higher percentage. so that's good
The 7 day moving average of cases peaked on February 02 and has been in decline since then.... for how long?
Reinfections: 670 ! we wuv u pfizer!
hospitalizations +138 to 13,024 (usual monday increase, should fall back again in a day or so...)
.... still not sure on the percentages of 'admitted due to covid' vs 'tested positive after being admitted for something else'... that would be helpful to know.... so of course there's no information available...
ICU: -31 to 841 (14th day of decline)
deaths: 1 (with comorbidities) interestingly... deaths from omicron only start increasing well after the peak number of infections... what's up with that?
daily deaths (7 day moving average): +2 to 214
