Oops, I must be careful - it`s my range. But I hope I will live long enough at least to see PiS` disintegratioin, collapse and court rulings for all their crimes.

I never wear a mask in public and nobody can force me to wear one. Masks cause the virus to spread even more, you keep touching the mask, because it's not comfortable, fogs up glasses, can't talk, hard to breath and vieruses grow in moist confined areas of your lips. Go ahead and shoot me but will never wea the infected mask.

Sheeple need to wake up and realize they are being scammed.

I feel just the opposite because what I am seeing and hearing where I live.
People such as myself who have had all the symptoms of the virus and when tested the tests come back negative.
I then tell the people doing the testing that a lot of people in the area that have had all the virus symptoms like me have been told they have negative results too.

So if it was not the virus what was it ?
The people doing the testing give the same exact pat answer throughout the United State which is : We don't know what it was but "IF" your hemoglobin has not build up enough of the virus it will come back negative while you "could have had it". :-/

So in short the testing is not accurate or they have a reason to not make it accurate.
Many people that have had it and never went to the hospital are still experiencing symptoms from months ago with the most common one being extreme fatigue.

I have yet to see any documents that give any concrete facts of the after effects of this virus such as life long complications.
Five years down the road when people start dropping dead left and right they will be telling us that we were misdiagnosed with having the virus so now there is nothing they can do about it, see you in heaven.

I love my country but my government sucks.

Good to hear as recently it seemed is going up.

the daily rate goes up and down in cycles but in each of these the new high is lower than it had been and the low is lower than it had been.... I expect the rate to go up again in a few days (no later than just after the weekend) but I don't expect the rate to top 2000 again (knock on wood).

Here in Michigan our Governor just signed an executive order starting Monday that anyone refusing to wear a mask in Public gets slapped with a $500 fine.

Now let's hear these little spoiled bed wetters start screaming that they don't have to wear one because it is a free country.

It's a small amount of subtle levity not laughing at a hearse... it was the inflexible and incredibly intolerant English only policy that's to blame for any excess

I thought you were going to say gets slapped in the face............they should be! I was on the train from Warsaw the other day and the ticket machine allocates your seat number randomly, so you can't observe social distancing. A guy, aged about thirty-ish got on and plonked himself down in the seat directly behind me. He's not wearing a mask despite the compulsory requirement to do so. First thing he does is let out an almighty sneeze. He then spends several minutes alternately sniffing and nose blowing, after which he begins on his 'vittels', crunching, chomping, slurping and guzzling, you know the type who can't travel two stops on public transport without stuffing their faces. Needless to say his mask remained dangling between his ears like a skipping rope and was never hoisted aloft to cover his big, stupid, gormless, self-centred, ugly mug.

That's when you take your cell phone out and take a picture of him.
When he asks you why you took his picture tell him that you want to show your husband the picture of the guy that sneezed on you and gave his family the virus.

You then put your cell phone in your pocket and tell him to hoist up his mask or be on social media with the complete story that you just posted too.

As time goes on what are your opinions on the current situation of the virus....should people feel more optimistic or is there still a need to be cautious....are people complying with social distancing or is it no longer important...are the statistics in general improving or are there any trends which people need to be wary of......

Just like a bad flu year , still waiting for cheap houses and cars, 40 odd thousand dead in uk, but only 1600 only dead in Polska.

There's a need to be cautious, especially for those in high risk groups... but there's no need for frantic fear (which is what the media keeps hyping).

The thing is not to look at number of new cases per se (those will keep increasing and the more testing there is the more new cases will be discovered) but at the numbers of hospitalization and fatalities. The fatality rate is kind of stabilized at around 10-15 a day, mostly elderly patients with (I'm assuming significant) comorbidities.The hospitalization rate has been steadily (if slowly and not completely consistently falling). I don't think it will pass 2000 again unless this second wave is a lot worse.

Poland did some things right and flattened the curve but a flatter curve is also probably going to be a longer curve. I also think that the tb vaccination and the relatively small number of people in care homes contributed to the low numbers (in per capita terms a fraction of some other European countries).

It's a very different situation from mid March when it seemed like the apocalypse... it's a serious disease but not one that should inspire mass fear.

There also seems to be evidence that a lot of social distancing isn't so necessary (that came about when it seemed to be super-contagious.... which it doesn't seem to be) especially outdoors. I wouldn't spend much time in enclosed spaces with (re)circulating air though.... (like shopping centers). I've eaten out a couple of times in the last couple of weeks but outside...
