That's a letdown...I bet the EU filed a protest claiming that that wall violated the scums' human rights to invade and ask for asylum.

I think it would be only right for the EU to chip in to secure the outer EU borders... It's in everyone's best interest, after all, and countries like Greece and Poland aren't rich...

I'm fairly sure it will come to that....but with everything the EU needs time and endless discussions first....*sigh*

But the "Festung Europa" is only a matter of time....actions like from Erdogan or now Lucuntshenka are downright self defeating in hindsight. Now Erdogan has no cards anymore to pressure the EU with...Lucuntshenka and Putin will experience the same.

@Novichok, there are official border crossings where migrants can ask for asylum in a legal and safe way. If there was a border wall Lukashenka wouldn't be able to use those people anymore in such an inhumane way. I don't particularly like the idea of building a wall, but if it's going to be done, then I think the EU should chip in.

He lost because he didn't call me. I would have told him to look at the numbers and stop while he was ahead with Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Poland already in the win column and the USSR minding their own business. I wonder if the moon was on his list.

12 migrants are currently hospitalised in Hajnówka (160 of them have been admitted since the start of the crisis). They are treated mostly for hypothermia, frost bite (and tonight it will be below zero in the east) and leg wounds.

About 15-20 percent of them are children (as young as one year old). They are brought to the hospital mostly by Border Guard (or humanitarian organisations) and BG pays all the hospital bills.

So, it is dealt with firmly but in a humanitarian manner. :)

Hopeless, she either needs to change or go... she's of no use. She needs to be deported from Brussels and back to Germany.

And when they are all fixed up ...what then?

They are given warm clothes on the check-out day, and then, I assume, they can legally apply for asylum in Poland (which they try to avoid, because Germany is their destination country, but in such situation they have no choice), and await decision in a refugee facility.

There's no other alternative once they're in Poland. Of course they can still be deported to Iraq if their application is rejected - the issue was discussed with Iraqi authorities today.

Are fingerprints dna samples taken to share with German authorities.... just in case?

Something usefull for the 1200 frontex office clerks to do, as well as making an image of every migrants mobile phone.


Easier said than done, they can just claim they are from Afghanistan, Syria or any other place not accepting deportations, also if they actually force people on the plane they can yell and refuse to sit and the pilot will refuse to take off as it's not safe.

Even the quoted explanation shows how stupid white men are. How about transporting them chained to the floor the way we do prisoners - with armed guards at the front and the back with the orders to shoot anyone who breaks loose?

Well, I'm not so sure about that... I just saw something disturbing... A video showing what looks like Polish border guards or soldiers trying to push through a barbed wire a migrant back to Belarus. His wife is trying to stop them, their little kids are screaming, crying... Such behaviour is not only cruel, since Poles know very well that these people will get trapped over there and how they're going to be treated and used by Belarusians, but also not right - if they crossed the border then they're Poland's problem... Tough, but they should be taken care of from now on, especially that it's just a family with small kids. I'd like the Polish forces on the border to stand firm against what Belarus is doing, but not like this, not in this way... We are a Christian nation... :(

Weirdly enough, Polish Border Guard reposted this video on their Facebook profile without any commentary. Don't they realise how bad this looks?

Apparently it isn't an isolated case and it's taking it's toll psychologically on people securing the border:

Apparently they're Belarussian soldiers pushing women and children through razor wire into Poland to test the reaction of the Polish border guards. The government here has confirmed that the video is genuine.

@jon357, it's not the video that I posted.

In the one posted by Giczan it's clear that the video is being filmed by Polish border guards or soldiers. Migrants and Belarusians are on the other side the fence.

This is the one I saw earlier today. I think it's the same as the one you posted. It looks like a true nightmare. It looks like the Polish guards are trying to push them back. This will get worse.

If you think christian nations are so superior to muslim or bhuddism or other ones look up the burning of witches or inquisition, conquistadors, crusades, the order or teutonic knights etc. And btw you are not just a christian nation you are a catholic nation full of catholics. its funny how Polish people want the west and americans to respect them so much and not call them pollacks etc. but they always talk about **** most of those countries dont care about like catholism or calling other nations asians like that pawian guy over here. no wonder poland is a laughing stock of the civilized or first world.

They deliberately hide the dark parts of Poland's past and try to pretend it's some sort of utopia. It isn't. People are the same everywhere, good and bad. What we can see in that video is bad.

You should thank them. They are helping Polish border guards to grow the missing pairs. Conflicts are good for it. Hugging and hahahaha are not.

It reminds me of what I saw in Bulgaria recently proving my point how they let some kraut germans rub up on them but back in poland on sites like sympatia they all claim theyre waiting for marriage. especially with polish teens. they all claim theyre religious and waiting for marriage but go to bulgaria in the summer where they have colonies to the club there or any country they go and see how theya ct around eu rich foreigners. even turks.

@jon357, yes, that's the video. In that note it's written that those migrants are struggling with Polish border guards, not Belarusian, and that Polish Border Guard confirmed that the video is genuine...

I used to see it daily. In Warsaw too.

It's either that or being a perennial outsider.

That film of the bordere guards deserves to be seen far and wide.

Polish border guards should get a clue from the Israelis and use skunk spray.
