You forgot to mention that the above wrongly convicted person has already received statutory compensation in the amount of €370,000. After which he claimed additional compensation for lost wages etc. in the amount of €750,000. The prosecutor then billed him for board and lodging and the wages he earned in prison at €100,000. Exactly, she hasn't had her citizenship revoked, she just doesn't have a valid UK passport at the moment. Technically speaking she doesn't need a UK passport in order to be let into the country, she'd just have to convince the immigration official that she is entitled to enter the UK, which in her circumstances would be simple.

...since stupid Brits admit thousands every month without passports and visas...Just land and say "asylum"...
