I don't understand why those countries had been singled out by Trump. Those seven and no others. Like why? The first on the list should be Saudi Arabia. I fail to see the logic of it.

I don't think there is any logic to it. Not a single American has been killed by a Muslim refugee from any of the 7 banned countries, but 15 out of the 19 hijackers involved in 9/11 were Saudis. Go figure. The others were from UAE, Egypt and Lebanon, but those countries are not on the banned list either.

What I find unbelievable about the whole thing is that Trump is banning Muslims from those countries for the 'just in case' scenario, but on average 16,000 people per year are murdered in the US, 11,000 by firearm use. And this seems to be perfectly acceptable. More people are murdered every year on the streets than have been victims of terrorism. He is doing nothing more than spreading hate and fear, whilst ignoring the problems in his own back yard.

Exactly. His concerns about terrorists don't appear to extend to countries he does business with, despite known terrorists from that country committing atrocities on American soil.
