You know, I'm not so sure. I have this feeling that Trump might actually push through the repatriation of cash, and that should push the Dow to record silly levels. But it will be artificial.

What do you do with all this cash? Build new factories to increase supply? Pour money into R&D? Where does the demand come from that will justify these investments? Where will you find the necessary specialists if you have kicked them out of the country? Companies are not a charity; their sole purpose is to make profit.


Company values are mostly based on actual sales numbers and expectations. You won't sell anything if people can't afford products "Made in USA". Border tariffs will simply trigger trade wars, which will ultimately hurt the economy. Just look at Mexico and how the country is already preparing itself to buy its corn in South America instead of the US. We haven't even talked about the giant deficit yet that the GOP will have to accumulate to follow through with their campaign promises. I hope I'm wrong, but this whole thing has written recession all over it.

Me too as obama put us in a $20 TRILLION debt in 8 years that we can't even pay the interest on.
More then all the rest of our presidents put together. (Deny that)

Obama and Netanyahu have the relationship of a boa constrictor with a mongoose! A two-state solution may well be the only one.

Trump and Netanyahu seem to have a good relationship and hope they can build on it.
