Before this election i had never hear of sancuary spaces or cities. It sounds weird.

That is because obama refused to uphold the Constitutional Laws.
obama signed many unconstitutional executive orders.
Now that obama is the hell out of the way America has elected a President that upholds the Constitution and is undoing these tyranny executive orders that are unconstitutional that the Messiah signed.

These people (illegal migrants) have broken the law by entering America illegally.

There are countries in this world that would have just shot them for crossing their borders illegally.
The "Opposition Party" (the Liberals) have decided that they will take the law into their own hands, interpret it as they want to and protect these criminals.
