You can google that and a lot of is heard on TV. But let me shorten story to you, especially because I am your only chance to get complete insight, considering functioning of mass media where you live.
Russia won`t turn back to Serbia on province of Kosovo and Metohija (Albanians call it Kosova). In the meanwhile Trump`s USA administration gave up from politics of pressure on Serbia and seek solution in compromise on province. Now, London agreement after WWI is mentioned by which Serbia had option to get access to Adriatic sea via what is now Northern Albania. London agr. is mentioned because Albania wants to merge with Kosovo (and vice versa) and form Greater Albania (they already removed border between them). Idea of compromise to Serbs is to keep part of Northern Kosovo (minimum) where live ethnic Serbs and to preserve entire Metohija (original throne region of Serbian Patriarch, holly land) region what is basically property of Serbian Orthodox Church for 800 years already. Then, via Metohija Serbia preserve connection to Northern Albania (where is Alabanized Serbian populace) and gets access to the Adriatic sea. Russian Patriarch himself already said how is impassible for any non-Serbs to hold the region. So, Russia declared it will support that what is compromise to Serbs.
But Germany is against it. Firmly. Complete idea of destroying Yugoslavia (and exterminate as much as possible Serbs during WWII and in this last Civil War) for Germany was to weaken Serbs and push them from warm waters, so Germany can form line of loyal satellite states (Slovenia, Greater Croatia, Greater Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bulgaria) all to the Turkey as Bismarck ``Father of German nation`` himself suggested (no matter that as a Serbian himself mourned on Serbia; how pathetic and treacherous from him).
All in all, as you see, Trump`s (USA) idea to push for honest and long term solution for the region, to normalize volatile Balkan with compromise, entirely endanger German strategic, greedy and selfish plans for the region. Then, Russian Lavrov visited Serbia yesterday and reiterated Russian support once more while in talk to Serbian President mentioned hostile German politics and pressure.
Furthermore, Germany is in conflict with USA and Russia over Serbian question also in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia. By London agreement, half of what is not Croatia`s Adriatic coast belong to Serbia. Considering Croatia is unstable rogue state, where rule apartheid, Nazism and most extreme clerical Catholicism, USA and Russia agreed to finally compensate Serbia for losses due to Vatican`s-German genocide on Orthodox Serbs and assimilation/Croatization of Catholic Serbs in what is now Croatia. By all signals Pope Francis tend to support London agr. on behalf of Serbs.
Add to it that London agr. opening space for Italy and Hungary to compete for rest of what is now Croatia`s Adriatic coast and you would finally understand why Hungary and Italy hurry to have as best as possible ties with Serbia (and to close open questions with Serbs). But, its only option for Italy and Hungary because how things develop, populace of Dalmatia (Adriatic coast in Croatia) incline to Serbia, while only some regions of Northern parts of Croatia seek to merge with Hungary and others with Serbia. Not to speak that Romania entertaining both, Hungary and Serbia, so these two countries already signed especial military agreements. Orban also pushing for Serbia in Visegrad and Serbia also tend to it, while Russia accepting it. Understand now why Orban already publish map of Greater Hungary.
Historically, Russia always respected any Serbian deal with Central Europe (with Poland and Czeska) and never interfered. Serbia was always (!) point where Poland`s and Russia`s ego-strategy coexisted in perfect balance (Russia satisfied to influence region enough to prevent hostility on Russia and Poland satisfied to influence main transport routes in the region). There is the reasons why Poland, Hungary and rest of Visegrad allowing Serbian import of most heavy (S-400 included) Russia`s armament via Visegrad air space.
This all strengthening Serbs and Germany facing complete disaster of its plans for the region. USA and Russia see in it as a way to contain Germany. It is also all in absolute interest of Poland because if Serbs don`t control region, Germany controls it. If Serbs are strong, Poland gets warm waters. Russia gets our neutrality (and with it neutrality of Visegrad) and also economical bonus from our warm waters (already using regions for its energy transport lines).
