You know, we speak of infrastructural and green field economic investments, in above example. Infrastructure contribute to economy in itself and those Chinese factories in Serbia pays taxes to Serbian state and fill the budget, pays salaries to workers in Serbia and to say in short, money circle establishing. Part of money that circle within state is always used for the debts.


Serbians are loyal to themselves, to Serbia and to their Slavic civilization. Thing with Serbia is that Serbia always giving equal chances to all who invest in Serbia. Come, don`t try to dictate and blackmail Serbia, invest, pay taxes and rightfully expect to profit in Serbia and have feeling how is your wealth safe in Serbia. Yes, I am proud that Serbia these days managing to behave as really independent country.

German Continental in Serbia



One of my favorite German investments in Serbia is coming of their Continental and their research R&D center in Serbia's Novi Sad (my city). Building (in the city center) is almost finished and they started collecting working force. Projections are to employs over 100 highly educated workers, engineers. Minimal salary would be 2000 eur. Before this project Continental already opened factory in Serbia, on the north of state in Subotica and employed 500 workers in manufacture of car parts and vehicle safety control systems.

German Lidl in Serbia >>>



German discount chain Lidl part of Germany's Schwarz-Gruppe opened its first 16 stores in Serbia and many more to come. Plus, Lidl invested 55 million euro ($63.7 million) in the construction of a logistics complex with a storage capacity of 30,000 pellets and a footprint of 45,000 square metres in Stara Pazova, in northern Serbia.

For sure, this is where Serbia should be doing a great job. It's perfectly placed as a regional logistics base for companies.

Yes, list of companies that invest and coming to Serbia is long and sounding. Literally on the daily level I get some good news.

Few examples >

US company NCR starting this month building its Belgrade regional centre/campus on 40,000 square metres. Its first European and actually its first out of USA campus. The first campus is located in a US state of Atlanta. At the moment, 3148 employees of NCR in Serbia work in six different locations. More then 1000 additional workers to be employed. NCR investing more then 80 mil eur.

In my city of Novi Sad, German BOSCH these days opening its factory and altogether with it its regional research center. 440 workers and 50 engineers. Newest Bosh`s investment in Serbia is 52 mil US eur.

German SIEMENS opened also new factory in Serbia, in Kragujevac, on 60,000 square metres and for 2000 workers. Among else, train cars for London's underground will be produced there.

German automotive company, Witzenmann also investing. 40 mil eur. 300 workers.

Turkish Teklas Automotive. Initially to invest 12 mil eur. 400 workers and with new investments up to 1200 employees.

Germany's Boysen. 65 mil eur. 500 employees.

Ireland's Smurfit Kappa. 133 mil eur.

To have company in Serbia becoming must.

Makes sense. Serbia has the benefit of favourable geography, a great location, willingness to invest in infrastructure and a stable government.
