Ukraine vs Serbia.

It seems a lot of Polish fans supporting Ukraine :)

Serbia won. Was clearly better team but the spirit and getting out of ashes was definitelyon Ukranian side.

Strange feeling looking that game. Sadness. I didn`t want Serbia to win but we did. That`s what we Serbs do. In the end, at least. But then why they lost? They are also Serbs. In great deal. No, not Serbs in a wide Sarmatian sense. Just Serbs Serbs from here. Refugees from time of Ottoman invasion. The Angles, now fallen Angels. Used by the dark side to penetrate the Scythia. But they shall return to us.

From games today:
Brazil-Japan. Japan lost
USA-Bulgaria- USA had a good start with 2 sets but Bulgaria is not letting go and may still win.
Later Poland- Mexico, Poland should win easily

USA won 3-0. But Bulgaria did put a fight.

Poland- Mexico is painful to watch. We are playing bench and still second set 25- 14 for Poland

France- Slovenia. Thought it will be straight, easy win for France and for now it's 2-1 for Slovenia

No denaying USA is a strong team. Lets just hope Poland is stronger. No matter the result both teams are secure and go to the next stage

I didn'tplan on commenting before the Poland's game but oh god, did the earlier game made me cheer :)

Mexico, a country without professional volleyball clubs (from what the commentators said) won 3-2 with Bulgaria!!!

And in such style!!! Last set they were already loosing by 4 and still bounced back!

Middle of a second set and Poland, while not behind with points most of the time, seems to struggle to do what they want. Struggling all the time.

We will see but it'snot a good game for Poland

After that post suddenly Poland turned things around and in set 3 it was USA that struggled to do their thing. Not to 'zapeszyć' but it looks good for Poland.

Poland won !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today one of gravely disappointed Am players suggested the Polish team had the support not only from the fans but also from the referee. :):)

I read there was a moment when the referee took a controversial decision and the American coach started yelling and jumping. I didn`t watch the game.

American coach got yellow card. Even if he had two decisions in Poland's favour ( which I don'tthink he did) that doesn't justify 3 lost sets...

Today the 16 team phase starts. Slovenia is playing with Germany and later Italy with Cuba.

Tomorrow USA with Turkey and Poland with Tunesia

Tunesia probably can be beaten.🏀

It almost certainly will be and that means Poland and USAwill meet again but this time the loser is going home

I love this championship, the games are really interesting with a lot of changes! Right now USA- Turkey game ( which seemed to be going the easy 3-0 way) is close to go 2-2 with a fight in tie break!!!

It would be so weird if USA was kicked out before even the quarter finals.

USA won. Nice tie break. Now Poland in an hour.

Poland won 3-0. Tunisia really tried in the 3rd set but didn'thave a chance.

Next time we play with USA again and this time it's a all or nothing game

Ukrainians are smashing The Dutch . Looks like it will be 3-0

Apart from volleyball EuroBasket 2022 is also going on.



Poland is in group D with Serbia, Israel, Finland, Holland and the hosts of the group the Czech Republic. The latter stages of the competition will be hosted by Germany.
