Stance of Poland in UNESCO on behalf of Serbia and Kosovo, no support for western European initiative.

Serbians are 300% Polish

The Mongol-Byzantine-Cyrillic Serbs with their Turkic-flavoured culture are as far from Poles culturally as anyone in the Slavic world. Even Croats being Catholic and Latinic are closer. Equally remote from Poles are Bulgarians and Russians. The closest are Lusatians, Czechs and Slovaks, then to some extent Ukrainians and Belarusians.

Crows comments sometimes make me wonder if i am looking at some sort of identity crisis. Serbs are nothing like Poles, at all. I do admire their use of powertools as instruments of torture back in the 90s. Very imaginative indeed.

Wow. Calm down people. Independence of Kosovo was silly idea probably, but you people go way too far from both angles.

The Mongol-Byzantine-Cyrillic Serbs with their Turkic-flavoured culture are as far from Poles culturally as anyone in the Slavic world.

Like where the hell is that from?

one of the reasons that all Poles who are not clinically retarded side with Kosovo against Serbia.

No, most Poles think Balkan area has probably hardest recent history with many atrocities committed by many sides. I think most of us don't really understand why Kosovo got out of Serbia and think that was terrible decision. Speaking from me I have an impression that Serbians were leading in evil stuff during the Balkan wars, but to be fair, I don't know much. That's what my impression is from several documents I've watched, what I've heard from my history nerd friend and I'm sure most of the Poles know even less. But one thing are sins of the past, another culture and we shouldn't mix them up.

Politically speaking, we know nothing about Balkans, we don't think really about Balkans, we are probably too ignorant about the topic, but I see you argue about what we generally think about Albanians, Serbians etc., so that is the answer really.

That being said what Balkan states need imo is to stop hating each other. I've met several people from different Balkan nations and what I've learnt is with most of them you can't really speak about particular nations, because the conversation ends and you listen to pure hate and totally black&white world. I know it's fresh, so probably it will take some more time. Especially so much evil was made, even from the UN side.

At last I would recommend reading about the time just before WWI in Balkans. How big empires tried to influence particular countries against their neighbours and what at one point went out of control and ended in world war. Just focus on the part how these countries often got screwed all around, how they trusted in their big allies to find out they are on their own. You little countries hate each other? You are probably being played.

being Catholic and Latinic are closer

Poles are also quite remote from Macedonians and Montenegrins but closer to the more European Slovenians.

Are you madman Poloniuse? Don`t you know that ultra right Catholics (led by Jan Lopuzansky) within Polish parliament, even back in 1999, were first to protest against NATO attack on Serbia. They even predicted that same way as /citation/ ``as now NATO attacking Serbia one day may attack Poland``.

You Poloniuse absolutely don`t understand nature and mechanisms of Polish-Serbian relations but just bla bla bla bla bla

Lopuzansky

Łopuszański is a nobody. He was a super-right-wing fanatic for a brief spell and then faded into oblivion. Kosovo is Albanian and will be forever more.

Nikolic told him that he "understands the U.S. is unconditionally supporting a thing whose creation it directly influenced," and that Washington "caused a lot of trouble by exercising its will."

Having above article in mind and remembering unfortunate humiliation of Serbian FM in Warsaw, few weeks ago, when official Poland gave priority to Shiqiptar demands. You remember what Serbian FM Dacic said when abandoned EU organized session and cut his visit to Poland. He said to Rita Mogherini: ``Then go ahead. Work without Serbs if you can.`` So, spot this development >

"... Europeans themselves are not united on this - for example, Kosovo has not been recognized by all EU member-states - it will, in my opinion, very clearly go in the direction of Russia effectively playing a very strong role there in the future, or having an influence,

Speaking about the U.S. sanctions imposed on RS President Milorad Dodik, Janssen said he "can imagine the administration of Donald Trump lifting them."

"I can imagine it, given the fact that Russia condemns these sanctions, and that Trump will, at the very least not adhere to these sanctions, if he wants a deal with Putin.

If you have no strength you need some brains. So far judging by your example, Serbia has neither.

Before this all finish, you would change your mind. Serbians do have both, and strength, and brains. Plus, they have fascinating stubbornness and exemplary endurance.

We must. We hold the Southern Gate of Sarmatia. We have obligation. If we fall, there is no Slavic South. So, no retreat.

If Serbians (Racowie) fall, last chance for Poland to again become great power would fall.

Polonius3

last chance for Poland to again become great power

No-one in Poland thinks in those terms. Only Comrade Vrana (Crow) nurtures megalomanic pipedreams about a Greater Serbia playing some pivotal role in a future Slavic empire side by side with a Greater Poland and probably also Greater Bohemia, Greater Slovakia, Greater Croatia, Greater Ukraine, etc., eventually edging out Europe's non-Slavonic "riffraff". Poles happen to be of primarily Slavic roots but it's no big deal, nothing to be fascinated by or proud of. Crow has created an entire fictitious world based on alleged Scythian-Sarmatian-Slavic superiority over Germanic and Latinic nations, but it's all only in his poor excuse for a mind.

Crow

you stupido, Greater Serbia would be same as Greater Poland. Its Sarmatia Europae, new Commonwealth. It would be something best to happen to Europeans from Baltic to Balkan. But this all isn`t about it. Unfortunately. See how you know nothing and your tongue just clatter, clatter, clatter

I was in the army at that time and we definately supported bombing the place at the time and would again support bombing any such genocidal lunatics.

The only regrets I have ever heard any Pole express about bombing Serbia and sending troops to oppose the genocidal rapists who disgraced the good name of Serbia were of two kinds: regret that it ever became necessary to bomb anybody and regret that the world hadn't stepped in earlier (if a firm response had been given to Serbian crimes in Croatia, most probably Serbs wouldn't have committed genocide in Bosnia).

Crow has created an entire fictitious world based on alleged Scythian-Sarmatian-Slavic superiority over Germanic and Latinic nations, but it's all only in his poor excuse for a mind.

I honestly very often believe that crow is an Albanian who is obsessed with making Serbs look as bad as possible.

Kosowo jest Serbskie

No-one in Poland has ever heard of a Polish radical gorup called Autonoms. Most likely it was made up for propaganda purposes. A Warsaw demo once vauntned by Crow allegedly showing Poles supproted a Serbian Kosovo was probably made up of Serbian embassy personnel, Serbian students studying in Poland and possibly off-the-street hrelings who joiend the demo at 100 złots a head. The video of the demo was surely shown on Serbian televison as proof that the whole world including Poland believes the fairy tale that Kosovo belongs to Serbia. In actuality: KOSOVO JE ALBANSKO!

Haven't you noticed that the forced separation of Kosovo from Serbia and transforming it into an independent state was somewhat breaking the rule of not changing the borders in post-war Europe?

Polonius3

not changing the borders

Butg there is also the priciple of national self-determination. A nation under the boot of aforeign powere is hardly an ideal situation. The merger of FRG and DDR as well as the split-up of Czechslovakia have also changed existing borders. Grass-roots pressure for autonomy (eg (Basques, Scotland, Northern Italy, etc.) may also lead to border change.

You've gladly ommitted Catalonia over which Spain doesn't want to relinquish power.

Do you imagine NATO air strikes on Spain in defence of the Catalonian independence if the latter declared it and Spain did not agree to it?

Polonius3
20 Jan 2017  #172

and Spain did not agree to it

If Spain had slaughtered 8,000 Catalonian men and boys and looked set to continue such a genocidal policy, NATO would have reacted similarly.

Polonius could it be if your US government lied to you about the Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq (until now have not been found), about the false chemical weapons attack by Bashar Al Assad government forces in Syria could it be beyond your imagination that your government lied to you again as yet another in a list of false pretexts to go to war against a sovereign nation which refuses to be under their control?

Instead of using Fox news as a reliable source I advise you instead to read a book or two before commenting on an issue and appearing silly from the people who were actually present there and saw what happened first hand.

So much for your US government "care for human rights". Even Al Qaida is no longer the boogeyman as long as this terrorist organisation renamed the Al Nusra Front serves US interests in the Middle East region.

Or as was once noted by Albright that the 500,000 dead Iraqi children are an appropriate price for the removal of Saddam.

So Polonius if you have any decency left whatsoever considering the country you reside in do not ever ever dare to mention how your government which incited wars all accross the globe and is selling weapons to all sides and makes profit on the blood of others supposedly is concerned or cares for "human rights". Because to people like me this is something you can never sell.
