Apology, that was pro-Kremlin 'rebels' claiming to have taken down a drone of unidentified origin. I was getting confused with the pro-Kremlin 'rebels' in Crimea who claimed to have taken down a US drone, as reported by Voice of Russia here: voiceofrussia.com/news/2014_03_14/US-drone-intercepted-in-Crimean-airspace-Russias-state-corporation-2994. With so many lies being told by the Putin fanboys, it's tough to remember exactly who told which lie.

That article does not mention "rebels in Crimea" and it states it was intercepted not taken down/destroyed.

And please note that photos from Syria in 2012 or Canada in 2013 or Mexico in 2006 are generally not considered to prove anything about Ukraine at the moment; although they do very clearly prove that your fellow Kremlin fanboys like to lie every bit as much as you do :D
