And apparently they shot down a Ukrainian military plane.
Not that day they didn't. You're lying yet again.
But I'm not saying they are innocent. Because I don't know.
Somebody shot a plane down in that area on that day. Some people say they did it and they certainly had the capacity to do it. That's more than enough proof.
On the other hand, if the Ukrainian army did it, it was either an accident, or intentional (yes, that would be horrible). Because they would have a LOT to gain.
Don't bother with your bizarre conspiracy theories: if we wanted to be exposed to those, we'd watch Russia Today.
Also, it has been said many times that, right before the plane was shot down, two Ukrainian military planes were flying strangely close to the Malaysian plane.
Has it been said by any source more reliable than Russia Today?
Here's an example of Russia Today lying about this topic:
"[We] would like to get an explanation as to why the military jet was flying along a civil aviation corridor at almost the same time and at the same level as a passenger plane," he stated.
"The SU-25 fighter jet can gain an altitude of 10km, according to its specification," he added. "It's equipped with air-to-air R-60 missiles that can hit a target at a distance up to 12km, up to 5km for sure."
The presence of the Ukrainian military jet can be confirmed by video shots made by the Rostov monitoring center, Kartopolov stated.

But problem is that the SU-25 is a close ground support jet that can't get anywhere near 10km. So how did Russia react to getting caught lying? By trying to change reality:
As we reported earlier, the Kremlin now says that flight MH17 was "tailed" by a Ukrainian military Su-25 aircraft during much of its flight over Ukraine. As we pointed out, this claim may be physically impossible since Russia says that the Su-25 was consistently between 3 and 5 kilometers away from MH17, but the Su-25 can't fly high enough to have this claim make any sense.
Well, today the Su-25 has been given some significant upgrades -- at least on Wikipedia. Several IP addresses that track back to central Moscow appear to have edited the maximum altitude of the Su-25 from 7 kilometers to 10 kilometers to match the flight path of MH17.
