Won't Mexico pay for the wall?

Yes.
One of the ways President Trump has suggested is charging a sur tax on the $25 Billion tax free dollars a year that the illegal Mexicans in the United States send back to their families in Mexico.

Mexico receives "approximately $24 billion a year in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States" and that "the majority of that amount comes from illegal aliens."

At 10% the wall would be paid for in twenty years.
That would be a start.
Actually less because of what America would save on housing Mexican prisoners, free healthcare, schooling and housing of the illegals kept out by the Trump wall.

Anyway, as far as I know, Trump can impose that surtax all by himself and tell the Democraps to go to hell. As somebody wrote, (was it you, JR?) Trump never expected Mexico to pre-pay. Just pay. Even if that means not getting the money they would normally get. Same thing as getting a rebate.

But to be honest, I personally believe that it is really bad for the country if one party controls everything. You can't tell me that you are happy with the way McConnell and his cronies are performing in the Senate. The same would happen with a Democratic Congress and presidency. Both parties, including the president, have forgotten that they work for us and not for themselves or their rich donors. Term limits are urgently needed, and a few other things should be changed as well.


I told you several times already that I'm not a registered Democrat. My world won't come crashing down because I'm financially sound and it's easy for me to ride out the coming storm. Unlike most other Americans, who will suffer tremendously should Trump be reelected in 2020. A recession is coming, and this time there will be no one competent enough in the administration to get us out.
