a 400-pound lardo can claim that he is starving and get all that "how awful" sympathy

True and what I really get a laugh about is when some 400 pound Mama is howling how she is starving, her little under nourished skinny children are standing in the back ground with blank looks on their faces.

What's wrong with that picture ?

problem are employers who don't pay enough to survive

In which case the employees qualify for welfare guidelines and collect Food stamps along with their paycheck plus free health insurance through Medicaid.
But no, they want to drive a new car, have a boat and go to Disney World like their neighbors do.
That's the problem called budgetly impaired.

Having Donald Trump as President is like having George S. Patton, General in Command of a an Army of CAMP - FIRE GIRLS !
Such a WASTE OF LEADERSHIP !

the problem are employers who don't pay enough to survive and don't offer benefits either.

You were doing so well and, then, you blew it with this:

It always boils down to the same issue: profit and greed.

So let me help you because I am such a nice guy. You see, everybody is greedy and wants to pay as little as possible. You would, too. The problem is that thing called the law of supply and demand, which, of course, is racist and xenophobic. But still operational.

See, according to that law, the price of apples, for example, drops when the supply of apples, for example, goes up. And the same happens with labor. When the labor market is flooded with the illegal low-skill garbage, the wages, or the price of labor goes down. Isn't amazing how it works?

Now, Trump, being a mean guy that he is - some here called him "scum" - wants the wages to go up to be loved and to assure his re-election in 2020. So how does he want to do it? Be reducing the supply of cheap illegal Latino labor!!! That's how.

I wonder how he figured that one out. F***king amazing! Isn't it?

When the labor market is flooded with the illegal low-skill garbage, the wages, or the price of labor goes down

You're an economic genius, Rich, believe me. LOL! Acccording to you, wage levels go down everywhere because the labor market in each and every state is "flooded" with illegals. Where do you get all these illegals from, may I ask? Ever heard of inflation? Ever heard of unemployment and that the number of open jobs that can support a family is actually lower than the number of job seekers? Ever heard of labor participation rate?

Sorry, man, but what you presented wasn't f*ucking amazing. It was fu*cking embarrassing.

Rich Mazur
15 Jan 2019  #634

What is amazing is your lack of understanding how the most basic law of economics works. All the other things you mentioned are on top of that basic law and never, ever made it inactive. Even under communism.

So, tell me when and where the law of supply and demand ceased to operate? Or, if it is still in effect, make an effort and explain to me, the ignoramus, how that law works. Or at least provide a link to a site you approved so we will not be dancing around which sites are credible and which are not.

Also, I hate when people speak for me. I am very good at expressing myself. So, don't paraphrase me with that strawman crap: in other words or according to you. There are no other words than the ones I posted.

Even though wages have gone up over the past 50 years, inflation has pretty much eaten up all the gains and the buying power has stayed the same for most U.S. workers. Are you seriously telling me that illegal immigrants have been suppressing real wage growth for half a century already and that greedy bosses and shareholders have absolutely nothing to do with it?

pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2018/08/07/for-most-us-workers-real-wages-have-barely-budged-for-decades/

You also want me to believe that the coal miners of Appalachia or the auto workers in Detroit all lost their jobs because millions of illegal immigrants were flooding the labor market of their respective states? And finally, you seriously want to tell me that white Americans would be willing to do the back breaking work on the farms and orchards for minimum wage or less? Why do you think Trump has to bail out his farmers over and over again, and why he promised just a few days ago to make it easier to bring cheap labor from the south into the country? Who will profit from this? The currently unemployed American citizens?

cnn.com/videos/politics/2019/01/14/trump-american-farm-bureau-federation-immigrants-help-farmers-sot-vpx.cnn/video/playlists/this-week-in-politics/

Your theory that "when the labor market is flooded with the illegal low-skill garbage, the wages, or the price of labor goes down" doesn't hold any water. Ask our business owners and politicians, who are really responsible for the dire economic situation of so many Americans these days.

It's always worth a try to educate a member of Trump's voter base, but unfortunately you are all living in an alternative universe with alternative facts. Evolution will take good care of y'all. Good luck. You will need it.

Who said

The ones who elected him.

I don't care about Trump one way or the other. The Lobby has him handled. They just don't like the fact that their grip on him isn't iron. No President can withstand Washington's entrenched interests, Trump inclusive. The swamp stays, it's banner held high by Bolton.

I think Trump may retain his place if he plays his cards correctly. The other wing of the same bird (Dems) haven't anyone strong enough in the publics' eyes to displace him at the moment. This also works in Trumps' favour.

Unfortunately, the invaders into Canada can just walk across. I guess the USA isn't good or safe enough for them.

A silver lining on the swamp; the shutdown may offer some bureaucratic shakeout. You'll want to read this, apparently from a Trump official;

"I'M A SENIOR TRUMP OFFICIAL, AND I HOPE A LONG SHUTDOWN SMOKES OUT THE RESISTANCE"

Thanks for bringing this link to our attention. I read it. It's perfect and I feel better now.
The most profound quote from it: The goal in government is to do nothing.
I immediately felt like I was back in the communist Poland - a country of thieves and parasites.
A question that popped in my head was: why would anyone volunteer and risk his life to defend this cesspool?

The Dems are so afraid of Trump giving his State Of The Union speech, because he will and turn around and point to Nancy Pelosi and blame her for the shutdown.

They are in full meltdown mode, again! Haha

Pelosi wants to cancel his speech to avoid embarrassment.

nytimes.com/2019/01/16/us/politics/pelosi-state-of-the-union-trump.html

Trump just cancelled her plans to fly to the middle east wtf is she thinking anyway? Going on another trip during the shutdown, wasn't Hawaii good enough for this elitist?

She wants to cancel his speech over the shutdown, but its ok for her to go travel around the world during the shutdown, she is insane!

The entrenched interests that control Washington do nothing BUT meddle with and overthrow governments worldwide.

" 'Time for new govt': US openly throws weight behind Venezuelan opposition seeking to depose Maduro "
rt.com/news/448673-us-venezuela-time-new-government/

It is Washington which created the current volatility in Venezuela in order to satisfy desired dialectical synthesis.

There have been lists compiled detailing accounts of Washington meddling in the affairs of other nations over the course of at least a century. Yet, when Russia supposedly places a few election-time Facebook ads attempting to sway American public opinion away from a non-nuclear confrontation between both countries the sky suddenly falls. The hypocrisy is so thick the finest Samurai sword could not cut through it. Question is; who controls Washington.

TheOther

turn around and point to Nancy Pelosi and blame her for the shutdown.

They only have to play the video where Trump takes proud ownership of the shutdown in front of TV cameras. Over and over and over again.

Trump just cancelled her plans to fly to...

Toddler in Chief throwing a tantrum. What an embarrassment.

Let me guess. You are not married and have never seen a toddler.
FYI, he told her to go and fly commercial to save money.

TheOther
18 Jan 2019  #646

That's why he flies to Florida almost every weekend to play golf: to save money. And of course, the cancellation had absolutely nothing to do with the State of the Union speech, right? Do you actually believe all the nonsense you write?

You are not married and have never seen a toddler.

Rich Mazur
18 Jan 2019  #647

Do you actually believe all the nonsense you write?

Hey, genius, I wrote what he told her, not what I know, think or believe.
Ask him why he did it.
If she thinks his trips to Florida are too expensive, she can de-fund them if she has the votes and he signs it into law. That's how works.

Joker
18 Jan 2019  #648

That's why he flies to Florida almost every weekend to play golf

Not true,
Is that why he stayed in DC over the holidays and has been there all month waiting for the Dems to come and negotiate? How could Nancy Pelosi come to the table whilst on vacation in Hawaii? Or the other Dems having a good time on the beach in Puerto Rico? How was Nancy going to negotiate from Brussels, Egypt or Afghanistan?

She hasn't any plans at all to stop the shutdown because Dems are nothing but obstructionists!

This shutdown was never about Trumps demands for the wall at all. This shut down is about democrats not letting Trump fulfill a campaign promise which he was elected on. This shutdown is about democrats having a rallying point for 2020, which is already starting to backfire upon them. This shutdown is NOT about whats good for the country, it is about what the dems can used to get elected in 2020.

Hey, genius, I wrote what he told her

Trumps letter to pelosi:

Grounded! lol

Pelosi wants to cancel his speech to avoid embarrassment.

That is exactly the reason Joker.
I love it !
The "Madame Speaker" has sure shot herself in the Foot by trying to postpone Trumps STATE OF THE UNION address.
It ain't so GOOD, that "state" while we have Very Little Border Security on the Southern Border = Exactly what the Dems' want !
And the shut - down, is the DIRECT result of that situation.... SO.... Ole Nancy has figured that out: she'll be Sitting directly behind the Pres' ...in FULL-VIEW of the entire audience....the ENTIRE TIME he's speaking = about how screwed up it is... BECAUSE OF HER ! RIGHT BEHIND HIM ! ha..... YOU know...

SHE'S GONNA BE LOOKING LIKE SHE JUST SWALLOWED A LARGE BOTTLE OF PRUNE JUICE !
And all the wrinkles on that ELDERLY FACE of hers....she's gonna be looking "bad" !
It's going to be REALLY tough for her to smile , and be sweet, and project her 'authority' ...with the Trumpster IN FRONT of her....In COMMAND OF THE CHAMBER !

HA ! ...all the while putting the BLAME on her Sorry ass for the sorry STATE of the Union, T O D A Y !
THE really great part: there won't be sh*t she can say about it ! It ain't her SHOW !.....

A TRULY NATIONAL TV & RADIO EVENT....SHOW - CASING THE SORRY STATE...AND THE DEMS WON'T COME TO THE BARGAINING TABLE !
You just know, that SHE knows...she's gonna get It 'compacted' ...YOU know where !
More popcorn please ! LMFAO !

Joker

THE really great part: there won't be sh*t she can say about it ! It ain't her SHOW !

She will have to sit there the whole time and be silent while the country is watching her squirm!

How about that phony made up security ploy, what a blatant lie as well.

Its going to be great watching Trump put the spotlight the Dems total obstruction.

AND THE DEMS WON'T COME TO THE BARGAINING TABLE !

She was planning to take off for another week. She didn't attend the funeral of the cop that was murdered in her district either, didn't even mention it at all or the fentenayl overdoses. The Dems dont care, but its coming back to bite her in the ass by her own stupidity.

Trying to cancel the State of the Union???? LOL

The solution is simple so i dont know why you are blaming it on other people

Mexico is paying for the wall and Trump had two years to organize it.

Trump had two years to organize it.

Not sure if you know this, but the US is not a dictatorship, there is a legislative process to go through before anything can be done. With RINOs like Paul Ryan as House Speaker it was always an uphill struggle to get anything done.

but unfortunately you are all living in an alternative universe with alternative facts.

In other words REALITY.

Pelosi wants to cancel his speech to avoid embarrassment.

Pelosi will have a hard time avoiding embarrassment when it emerges that she abused her position to fly family members for free in government aircraft.

The Skank's net worth is over $120 million yet she cries about Trump not giving her a free plane to use.
Typical Liberal mentality........everything about ME and my Party first and screw the Country.

The solution is simple so i dont know why you are blaming it on other people

Listen my little Polish friend, this has been explained to you in DETAIL many times now.
In fact didn't I say that you sound like a broken record about six times now.
Find some new material as you have camped out on this long enough to become annoying.
My patience has ran out for you.
You want to continue to poke our Country then expect me to start taking cheap shots at your Podunk Country.

I love it when Teflon Trump taunts the Skank and the drive by media to no end to show them the road runs both ways by taking away her Government air perks.

Those rules, however, didn't apply to his wife, first lady Melania Trump, reports say.
An account that tracks "rare/interesting" air traffic, posted screenshots of the first lady's plane trajectory.
In a thread, the account confirmed that she landed at Palm Beach International Airport after departing from Joint Base Andrews near Washington, D.C.. at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Air Force One.

What a HOOT !

18 Jan 2019  #655

The Skank's net worth is over $120 million

Now let's work out the source of that wealth....

She's probably aged 150 so if she's been a member of the House of Representatives for 100 years the most she would have earned would $17m...

Actually.... according to

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_members_of_the_United_States_Congress_by_wealth

it is only $16 million....

Clearly something is amiss.

Yes there is a legislative process - one where both houses were controlled by Trumps party for two years.

How many yards of his 12 strorey concrete wall were built ? LOL - too busy golfing. Plus he fired all his staff and now only hopeless wingnuts will work for him ?

Paul Ryan was elected many times by the prople of wisconsin so they obviously like his kind of Republican politics. Besides i dont remember Ryan blocking any bills about the 12 storey concrete wall

Oh, how cute. Remember how he was crying like a little baby that he was all alone in the WH? It takes only a few seconds to check how often he played golf already on our dime. Not to mention his "executive time" in bed with a hamburger, watching FOX News.

I think you will remain clueless as long as you continue using fake news for your reality check.

It is Washington which created the current volatility in Venezuela in order to satisfy desired dialectical synthesis.

Agreed. It was Washington under Obama and his predecessors who created volatility all over the world, especially Libya and the Middle East.

It's great that Trump is trying to extricate the US from the mess created by his predecessors.
