USA News and Poland

Agreed. It was Washington under Obama and his predecessors who created volatility all over the world, especially Libya and the Middle East.

Trump isn't exactly helping things.

I think you will remain clueless as long as you continue using fake news for your reality check.

Funny, I think the same about you guys and your "real news" coming from Hannity, Coulter and Limbaugh. Damn, what do we do now? :)

Damn, what do we do now? :)

Clearly nothing!

How can you if you only ever get your info from filtered sources.

Trump isn't exactly helping things.

He is reversing the growth of the US miltary expansion which has taken place over the last 30 years.

He has single handedly promoted the unification of Korea, and has received absolutely no credit for that.

Peace is breaking out in Syria after he stopped the Obama/CIA financing of ISIS... perhaps you are not up to speed on the Benghazi attack

Here's your starter for 10:-

eu.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/01/16/susan-rice-clinton-email-lawsuit/2592081002/

He is also withdrawing financing the Muslim Brotherhood.... etc. etc. etc.

You just need to take off your CNN goggles and come out of your Bolshevik bubble and you will see.

come out of your Bolshevik bubble

Wouldn't matter Bolek, he is like the rest of the Libs with the Trump derangement syndrome.
Doesn't matter what Trump does, they're priorities will be Party first, Hate Trump no matter what.
They can not focus as their heads exploded when Crooked Hillary lost.
All that is left is to blame that on Trump too and HATE him for it.
Realize that they are now the enemy of America.

I disagree. Sooner or later people will see the light especially after the MSM slowly starts to admit that they are part of the coverup.

There are huge number of journalists who are complicit in the purveyance of fake news.

Here is an exposition:-

hangthebankers.com/list-fake-news-media-journalists-wikileaks/

I can imagine that they will get their comeuppance before long....

In the meantime here is a further expose about the background to the Benghazi attack:

These wh**s will never admit nothin'. They will say that they used the best available info at the time and that it was Trump's fault that they didn't know the real truth because the "scumbag" - that would still be Trump - is a "pathological liar".

If PressTV and RT are forced to register as Foreign Agents, shouldn't ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX etc be forced to register as Israeli ones?

American Jews

There is a schism between marxist and neo-con strains about how to go about the continued fleecing of the World from this point on. Left hand arguing with right hand. American major news media is (((owned))), therefore never a bad word about Israel or the soft-peddling of what is covered. The US Congress is a fully owned subsidiary of the Lobby.

I was reading over the Constitution of the United States last night and found a couple of very interesting passages.
One said that "it is the President of the United States JOB to protect it's citizens and the countries borders".
Another one stated that "Any American who refuses or stands in the way of protecting our borders is committing treason".
I am paraphrasing here but you get the gest of what is being said.
That would mean that Polosi and Schumer are guilty of treason if I interpreted it right.
Why are they not in prison ?

Oops, sorry Mod, I want this posted in the 'USA News in Poland' thread
Please move it for me. moved
Thanks J.R.

Article IV, the duty to protect against invasion?

There was a case in the 1990's about it, and invasion was defined as being by a "foreign hostile power".

Good point though, and a case really should be made to the Supreme Court about it. I try and interpret the US constitution according to the times that it was written, and to me, an invasion is any crossing of the border by force, not just by a foreign power. It would have been used to justify defending against Native American raids for instance, who couldn't be said to be foreign powers.

Arguably, if any force is used at the border, then it should be treated as an invasion and obviously military force used in return.

johnny reb
21 Jan 2019  #673

Would you say throwing rocks and bottles at law enforcement while charging the border in masses would fall under the definition of a foreign hostile power ?

Rich Mazur
21 Jan 2019  #674

Stupidly written laws are stuck with stupidly defined definitions. A smart law describes the act, not the actor.

The act here is crossing a line we call border without permission. Period. The head count doesn't mean squat. "Hostile" is pure bs. Try to break into a bank at midnight and tell the cops that you were trying to wish the employees Merry Christmas and see what the cops say.

And "power" is even more stupid. What's power? An artillery piece? How about a dick to rape and a pair of hands to choke her to death with after the dick has done its part? Is that power? We can argue that dicks are instruments of love and hands is what we shake as a gesture of friendship. So which one are they? Power or love?

Where I live, the rule is simple: you cross, you get warned, you die. Alternately, you will die without a warning because I was mute that day and I didn't know your email address.

This country is insane.

That bar is very low. Bush 1 and 2 were "Republicans". And so was this pos what'shisname from Arizona.
Force or no force, I would shot anyone who would enter my place after being told not to. By the time force is in play, it is too late.

The American insanity is the reason why they cross the border. Only the wall will stop that. Nothing else.

WELCOME TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DELPH !

Doesn't mean I support anything involving the wall. :)

throwing rocks and bottles at law enforcement while charging the border in masses would fall under the definition of a foreign hostile power?

It's a tough one to answer. Individuals and small groups crossing could hardly be said to be the actions of a foreign hostile power, even at the time of writing Article 4.

Large organised groups are a different story, especially if they attack law enforcement in the process. As I said before, when you read the Constitution in the spirit of the times, then I think you have to look at the exact situation. If they group together as a large group and then attack law enforcement so that they can storm the border, then I do think that there's grounds for a military response under the Constitution.

Of course, it should be proportionate, and the military shouldn't be committing war crimes.. Anyone captured should be kept as a POW in this case, which seems reasonable enough.

Ah, I do love the US Constitution.

Trump is getting the blame for the government shutdown

ONLY by the Opposition Party delph, the majority of us are in for the long haul and support Trump.
The opposition Party takes over the Congress and within a week the government shuts down. (what does that tell you ?)
The country needs to be divided because we are now at the point we will never agree again.
The hard part is where to exactly put/give the Opposition Party for a place to live.
Everything else is very simple as far as who gets what.
Only if I were in charge to spread my wisdom with these useful idiots.

Trump is getting the blame for the government shutdown

Rightfully so. The Republicans held the WH, the House and Senate for two years and couldn't agree on border wall funding. Then the Dems offered Trumpski $25 billion in exchange for DACA protections, and the orange toddler walked away from the deal. Then both the Dems and Republicans voted in favor of a spending bill in the Senate, only for Trump to walk away yet again because Limbaugh and Coulter told him so. Finally, Trump takes the blame for the shutdown live on TV. But in the eyes of the Trump voters, it is still the fault of the Democrats. Dotards, all of them. Let them secede and resurrect their sh*ithole Confederacy.

johnny reb

Sounds like a deal.
We'll keep Capitalism and Wall Street.
We'll take trickle down economy and you an continue to give trickle up economy.
Since it so often offends you we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.
We'll keep our SUV's, pick-up trucks and oversized luxury cars and you can take every Volt and Leaf you can find.
We'll keep Fox News and our Bibles and give you CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC and Hollywood.
You can have Islam, Scientology and Political Correctness.
Take the U.N. too but we will no longer be paying for it so you can relocate that too.
You can give everyone health care too if you can find any practicing Doctors that accept it.
We'll take the nasty smelling oil industry and dirty coal mines and you can go solar and bio diesel.
We don't like redistribution of taxes, liberal judges, LBGTQ, and the ACLU so you can keep those too.
Since you don't like guns and war we'll keep our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.
You can keep your life long welfare dwellers, soy boys, homeboys, druggies and illegals.
Now to find a place to put you all and it will be a done deal.

TheOther

You keep the red moocher states, and we'll give you Chicago as a bonus. NYC isn't part of the deal unless you hand over TX. It'll be a blue state soon anyway.

johnny reb
22 Jan 2019  #688

Chicago and NYC are the armpits of America run by your failing voting base. No thanks.
Seeing how your way is working so well in California (not !) how about we give you the whole State of California (the lower extremity of America) which you can keep to do whatever you want to with.

I don't know any other place to put you all where the Opposition Party (the enemy of America) would be happy.
We won't come there and you don't come here (restraining order) in the divorce agreement to your succession from the United States of America.

Long over due.

because Limbaugh and Coulter told him so.

If you want to argue against Trump, ask me. I can do it much better.
It's not L or C that made him take the stand about the wall. It's the 2019 voter base: no wall, no re-election. Period. It's that simple.

Second point: He is no match for the steely resolve of Nancy's because she has every single Democrat with her. His RINO's are little sheep, unable to govern, uncomfortable as street fighters and divided. That would make anyone wobbly.

TheOther

It's not L or C that made him take the stand about the wall.

Is that why he publicly agreed to the deals first, and then walked away at the very last second? He's an idiot, simple as that. An embarrassment.

no wall, no re-election

Well, his hardcore base will hopefully learn it the hard way that they elected a bunch of crooks. Not only the president, but his whole corrupt administration and the freaking GOP weasels in the Senate.
