They did this because the US is an asylum run by the inmates.

What exactly is in the fifth amendment?

Basically it says that defendants cannot be compelled to become witnesses at their own trials.
My question to the immigrants that have filed these cases is, since you are not a U.S. citizen then why do you think you are covered under the U.S. Constitution ?

The situation at the southern border is not a full blown war like Vietnam or Iraq for example. It will be much easier to keep the troops (and their attitude towards civilians) under control than in real combat.

I didn't comment because I had no idea how they handle labor shortages in agriculture and other sectors. A quick google brought up this article. Looks like they are using foreign workers just like us as one would expect.

1. Stock market does not create wealth. It's only an indicator that the stock companies are or will be doing well.

2. Unemployment figures do not tell how many full-time plus benefits jobs capable of supporting a family of four have been added. A 10 per hour job is not a job.

3. Tax cuts are a temporary relief. The federal deficit and the debt is greater than under Obongo. One day, that debt will have to be paid back. In that sense, it's a bucket down the road kicking exercise.

4. The US military is not capable of winning and concluding wars. They are just militarized form of police with the rules of engagement that border on insanity and in search of a mission to justify the mind blowing cost to the US taxpayers. Hence, ISIS, Taliban, and now a base in Poland.

The Trump tax cut went into effect at the end of 2017. In the first 9 months of 2018, the national debt went up 1 trillion. Extrapolating to the full year, the national debt will increase by 1.3 trillion. There are 150 million employed Americans. Dividing 1.3 trillion by 150 million produces $8600 per person of debt for the year 2018. That is the amount that should have been paid in the ADDITIONAL federal income tax but wasn't.

Enjoy your tax cut and prosperity, Americans. Just don't tell your kids how you got it.

I hope for the same. But look at the results so far: federal debt growing at the same rate as Obongo's last two years. Wall? No wall. Illegal crossings - all time high. Afghanistan - still there. NATO - expanding. Trade deficit - no change or worse. Obongocare - no change and none is coming. Interest rates - going up. Inflation - going up. Stock market - higher, but it does not change the standard of living. In fact, it may cause people to save less and spend more because they feel 401(k) rich.

My prediction: Dems will win big because of the above and because Americans are morons.
