It's a huge money maker and the government wants a slice of the pie.
First the government regulates it and charges huge prices to have a grow license. ($5000 plus) $$$$
Then inspects the grow operations (free look see) with another charge $$$$$
Then it has to be tested before sale. (Mold, thc content, strain, bla bla) $$$$$
Then the store (dispensary) that sells it has to have a license to sell it. ($5000) $$$$$$
Then it is taxed around 25%. $$$$$$
Plus all the taxes on ice cream, rolling papers, pipes, bongs, vape's, ect. $$$
Then the revenue that will be collected for driving under the influence of it in fines, jail time, court costs, humiliation class, ect. (Same as drunk driving) $$$$$$

It's all about money Milo.
The only good thing I see in it is that the garbage (street pot) that is smuggled in from Mexico will be in much less demand.

The sad part is that a persons brain is not fully developed until the age of 25 so you do the math.

You could argue the same about guns. With 300,000,000 guns in the hands of Americans plus the 2nd Amendment that makes it constitutionally legal, that war should be considered lost as well. Yet, we get all these stupid lessons from the Euros about how guns are bad because 16,000 die here every year without ever telling how and who died.

In The USA that war seems to have been lost too.
As I have said before, I fully understand the argument for guns in The USA.
But it would not work in Europe.
Not sure that it completely works in The States either though......

That "war term" goes back to Nancy Raegan when she declared a "war on drugs" and "just say no".

The crack down made smuggling marijuana in boats and planes unprofitable so the smuggles turned to smuggling cocaine which was much easier to conceal, less weight then marijuana, smaller packages, ten times the profit and a hundred times as addictive. (Good job Nancy)

I remember the 80's when it was easier to get nose candy then it was a spliff.
Today the bill signed in Illinois allows you to have one ounce (28 grams) of weed and it will wipe the slate clean of over 80,000 people with arrest records for small amounts.


They should make it legal Rich.
It would keep the wives a little more understanding and much more forgiving.

No, the American people lost as the American Military were the main suppliers of these killer drugs.
They have now banned the book "Barry and the Boys" revealing how Barry Seals was used by the government to smuggle in tons and tons of drugs into Homestead Air Force base in Florida until the Government had to kill him because he knew to much.

That book sells on e-bay but I am doubtful you could find it any place else.
A good read as it tells in detail just how it was done and who was behind it.
Barry flew disguised military planes to Central America loaded with guns and traded them for cocaine.
He then flew the drugs back to the USA landing at military bases to avoid Customs.

I wish it were this simple. RINO's are co-guilty because when they have all three, they do nothing. In 2017 and 2018, they could have undone everything the American commies did since the beginning of time, ACA included, but, as always, folded like the spineless pussies that they are.

The single smartest and the most patriotic thing the RINO party could do is dissolve itself and join the Democrats. This would remove the need to cater to the Latino swing voters and the wall would up in 12 months since the Dems wouldn't need them anymore.

Rich, today I read an article about that shocking photo of a Latino man and his little daughter who drowned while crossing Rio Grande. Some comments were very unfavourable for the US, especially Trump - people blamed it on him. And accused the USA of selfishness etc Other comments defended America and said it was the immigrant`s own tragic decision.

The media had a field day with that photo calling it murder.
They don't post any photo's of the thousands of abortion every week that are murder also.
Funny how selective the bias Liberal media can be to use such a photo to play selective politics.

Rich did not say that. Rich said Trump is not using all of the tools he has now and without any changes in the immigration laws. Like legally authorized deportations which are fewer now than under Obama. He could have dug his heels and not sign the bills without the funds for the wall. Just a couple of examples.

But the photo you are talking about greatly contributed to ending the massacre of American soldiers in Vietnam. They stopped coming back in black bags 3 years later.

Trump has pushed the Dems into a corner telling them to pee or get off the pot.

Not that I want to critisize anybody because it isn`t my business, I am asking out of sheer curiosity but your mentioning rounding sb up sends shivers down the spine a little. It reminds me the times of occupation and how Germans rounded up Poles and Jews. Are such situations going to take place in the USA too? Are Americans ready to witness it in streets? What will their reaction be?

These people have broken the law.
They are costing our country billions a year in welfare that our citizens (Homeless Vets living on the streets) should be getting instead of them.

They have been told to leave on their own.
Just look at the pictures of the Sanctuary Cities that house them. Destroyed.

we see those pictures every night on the news already.
Just look at those holding facilities that are on the news every night trying to create a pity part.
Those people know damn well what awaits them when they enter illegally yet they still come.
Let me ask you, "How would you feel if there were 20 Million people who entered Poland illegally ?"

As for how I would feel if 20 million people entered Poland, it is a wrong comparison cause you juxtapose 20 million to 38 million Polish population while in fact it is 20 million to 300 plus something in the US, I don`t remember exactly. About 6%. 6% of Polish population is 2 million 280.000. It is only a little more than the actual number of all foreign workers who have come to Poland recently, mostly from Ukraine. The only difference is that they are not illegal.

What do most of those 20 million illegal immigrants do in the US? Work? Study? Idle?
