You can argue about fake polls but the genuine poll in the midterms was convincingly won by the Democrats with the swing that would give them an easy victory if repeated in the presidential election. They are even making races close in the states like Georgia, Texas, Alabama

What I mean is that in 2018 the economy was not the deciding factor in the midterms. The economy is doing but most of the gains are concentrated in States which are solidly democratic anyway - California, New York, Massachusetts et cetera.

For lots of voters opposition to Trump is now more important than whether they get a few hundred bucks more than last year.

I actually can see Trump adding a lot of votes in 2020 - the problem is that they will come in states which are already solidly Republican, or they will come in the states like California where it will not be enough to make a difference.

It's when you have to pay it back that things get really bad. The amounts are so awful that nobody has any idea how that debt can be paid off, which makes the whole damn thing a big unsustainable joke no matter who is in the WH.

I think I missed that part so I need some enlightment. Who opened the borders in the USA? If not yet, who is going to open them?

In other words, what has happened in Southern America or the USA that millions of Latino immigrants are desperately trying to break through borders? I don`t remember such problems in the past ( excluding illegal Mexicans of course ) - the only way for an average person (again, Western Europeans don`t count here) to enter the US territory was by obtaining a visa or winning the lottery, both during Republican and Democrat rules.

The US borders are wide open by the laws that make the CBP deliberately powerless to stop the invasion. Those laws, a mosaic of madness, were passed over time mainly by the Democrats like Eddie Kennedy, with a tacit approval of the RINO's.

Last year, I went to a border town (Nogales) in Arizona to talk to the CBP guys to find out what makes them unable to stop the invasion. They told me and this is when realized that the US is no longer a country. It's a mental asylum run by the inmates - the idiots and the traitors in the DC.

There is no real economic boom, dude. It's all on credit, and you know that. The tax cut for the rich, the increase of the military budget and the crazy farm bill have created a record budget deficit. Together with our trade imbalances and the looming tariffs, that's the real shape our economy is in. Your 3.2 GDP growth in one lousy quarter means nothing. The manufacturers and consumers all stocked up over the past few months just in case Trump is stupid enough to really move forward with his trade war and tariffs.
