The only such incidents of mass (school) shootings outside the US within recent or not so recent memory, were in Germany,
Cologne, 1964 where some ex-Nazi school teacher went bonkers and started shooting. The second,
of course, Erfurt, in around 2005, where a high schooler with a LEGALLY-purchased firearm being
a licensed member of a hunting club, went on a rampage.

So, what's the solution?

If you delete the word (school) that you cleverly put in then the U.S. barely makes the top ten list.
There is a common misconception that the United States is one of the top few countries, if not the top country, that have the highest mass shooting rates.

That is because other countries have other definitions of what qualifies as a mass shooting.
Actually the United States comes in at number ten for over all mass shootings if you were to do your homework.

And how is "mass" shooting any worse than "retail" shooting? And how come, we don't see any candle-light vigils and hear those "oh, how awful" moans in the black ghettos?

Are they too poor to buy candles or just don't give a sh*t?

Also, with all that brain power here and in Europe, how come nobody offers any suggestions how to solve the "American" gun problem?

We have, give everyone a gun just like in the old days.
The bad guys will end up shooting each other or get shot by the good guys.
Soon the bad guys will be eliminated and gun crime statistics will drop like a rock.
Simple as that.
The Liberals teaching kids that guns are bad doesn't seem to be working so well so why not go back to old school where our way worked.
