I think there is no real financial reason they went down. I think the instinct is that the US will head to a recession. I really dont play the treasury game, you need massive money to make money. I buy indexes, hard currency, and commodities.

Oil has come down quite a bit recently. Are you seeing lower gas prices in US yet? Typically there is a day or two lag, but oil was at about $94 yesterday. Thats a $16 drop per barrel or so. Gas should be coming down. Then again, the gas giants are all recording record profits and paying record dividends.

Gas here is down from $4.59 to $3.99 on average.


So are the individual gas stations by gouging.
Gas stations on the main drags are $4.29 and then I can go down the road 10 miles off the beaten path and it is $3.89.
Don't tell me that it costs 40 cents a gallon to bring a 10,000 gallon tanker gas truck another ten miles.
Now add in the factor that we ARE in a recession and people are driving less, taking less vacations and selling their second cars or having them repossessed.

Plus kids insurance on cars has sky rocketed to the point mommy and daddy can't afford to insure their kids car anymore.
Plus biden kissing the Saudi's ass to pump more oil to save the American economy that the Dems have driven into the ground with their big failing Green Energy idea's.

biden's idea to make all this get swept under the rug is to start a war with China.

Oil still coming down, and OPEC just agreed to boost production because demand is falling. These are good things and mean some relief is slowly on the way for winter and will likely save late summer tourism. This is not a dem or rep problem, it is a problem with energy companies making too much, and them not taking advantage of open leases available to drill more when the US has plenty of oil in the ground to pump. Now look at individual politicians taking money from the oil companies and then point the finger at them.

All true, however, the main reason gas prices are coming down is called, "Supply and Demand".
Meanwhile, China now has cut off all military cooperation with the U.S.A.
