Northern Michigan is not without their side show freaks entirely. Plenty of left wing nuts near my place. But there is one place that is as white and right wing as no other. Wolverine Michigan, also known as Wolvertuky for those of us who have lived in the north long enough. I can recommend multiple locations in the UP as well. Too isolated for me to live, but you will never have issues when visiting or living in these areas.
