Hamas is supported by Iran, and every other nut case muslim group. The US has no business being involved. Israel just another leach on the US.

The surest way to start another big one is by doing things half-ass. Doing nothing is fine and so is coming down like a ton of bricks. Half-ass leads to escalation. See Vietnam and every other damn war where the US was "proportional".

In Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the US was not "proportional" and finished the job beautifully.
