Our opposition really is paid by the West. Well... maybe because Putin kind of made it impossible for them to raise funds domestically, but the fact remains.

For some strange reason the West is absolutely obsessed with the Russian opposition. Say you hate Putin, and you immediately get a tenured professorship, get invited around to various symposiums and conferences, have book deals, and get invited onto CNN and the BBC.

If you are a Chinese or Iranian opposition - nobody gives a sh*t.

It doesn't matter how popular these people actually are in Russia - in the West they love them!

Agreed, this obsession is really strange. The "wests" idea that every country should be modeled on thier ideas is simply not realistic. There have been different forms of government sinze the dawn of time, and thats not going to change.

Kamala is not a skilled litigator. Being an attorney and passing the bar does not mean you know wtf you are doing when it comes to arguing in court. And in a debate, there are fewer rules governing how you make your arguments than in court. He record as a prosecutor is not that great, and while she was a prosecutor which is the easier position in court, she will be on the defense with Trump in a debate. Defending a position based on public record is much harder than prosecuting that record.

I cant wait to see her try to defend her inaction on the border, or how she hid evidence that would have exonerated a man sentenced to death. She is motivating women and blacks, but how will she defend her position on keeping cash bail in California that disproportionately effects minorities? This woman has more holes in her policy than the has qualities that should get her elected.

But the question is, can she be better for America (and the world) than Trump would be.?

She would be worse than Biden for the US, but better for the EU. The key being the president is suppossed to be president of the US and thats what should be the most important issue. I would vote for a ham sandwich before voting for her.

You're right, but not one hundred percent. A power such as the USA also bears global, worldwide responsibility. Just like, for example, Russia. That is why Putin's election and his remaining in power caused so many problems for the entire world, at least the Western world.

I doubt Harris will be a great debater.

She will however be better than Trump because she is a clear and disciplined speaker and will be able to shrug at his insults.

The momentum is with her so Trump will have to use the debates to get back on offense. But he looks tired and angry - after the shooting he looked energized but he has lost that quickly.
