Is that a problem?
Yes, it is....the national flag is, similiar to the national hymn, the unifying symbol of a nation! Even more so the during long centuries grown national language!!! When a movement comes and does away with this, supplanting them with their own rules and symbols, they have to count in resistance!
Privately you can do what you want....but we are talking official events and even places like the Reichstag etc. here...important symbols of the state, the nation!
How is that related to an " absolute disregard (dislike? hate?) for anything native,
Another, maybe better example would be the newly called "Bürgergeld", the free and lavish financial support of a steadily rising number of unwanted often illegal immigrants being paid by a steadily sinking number of actual tax payer!
Unwanted immigration is as much as a hot topic in Germany as it is in the US.....and similiar both govs avoided that as much as they could, now both receive the judgement for that denial!
Does this law stand out from the many others passed this year?
Definitely! Instead of offering a better economical policy to give the people hope that this country is led safely through all the actual storms and that we will come out stronger these people sit and discuss the wishes of trans people....in these times that just doesn't work.....and as seen yesterday night, it really didn't work anymore!
Most of the traditional media in the US is deeply conservative and owned by capitalists.
Maybe so....but surely not in Germany....Spiegel, Zeit, Süddeutsche, Stern etc. are massive left wingers....not to talk from the whole public broadcasting which for years now sponsored woke gender speech even against the wishes of the far majority of the financiers, the german people, which pays for this PUBLIC broadcasting system through our taxes....if that isn't brutal daily disregard I dunno what is!
