I had a mysoginistic thought myself, yesterday, at the airport. I had bumped into two women in a row, who had decided to suddenly stop in the middle of a crowded walkway to look around.

Later, sitting at the bar I started watching people. Men walk fast and purposefully to their gate, maneuvering their suitcases around like toy trucks. Women are eternally lost... lol!

How f*cking hard is it to read a sign that says "Gates B1-32 this way" and one that says "Gates B33-65 this way"?

They stop, they start looking around, on their face a vacant stare. If it's a mother with two daughters, it's especially hilarious.

Even a 10 year old boy seems to have superior navigational abilities to a 35 year old woman.

Anyway, I hate the way women navigate public spaces.

P.S. For some reason all the girlfriends in my life preferred to walk in the middle of a pedestrian sidewalk. This forces other people to walk around you, and me to play a game where I'm constantly speeding up or slowing down to avoid collision. What gives? Why can't you walk like a normal person on the right side of the walkway?

In New York, in Midtown, most of the time I simply walk in the bike lane or right on the street, because it's faster than working around all those tourists

99% of the time it's women that don't know how to use walkways.

Some thought occurs to them, and they stop immediately, planted like an oak tree.

If they're opening the door of their apartment building, or the door of their taxi, only in 1 case out of a 100 will they look to see if they might accidentally slam someone in the face.

I would really love to be inside the head of a woman for 60 seconds to understand what exactly is going on in their heads.

Living in NY definitely leaves everyone with a short fuse for ignorant walkers. My wife thought I was crazy for it until she started to notice it when we were in Vegas. Then even she got pissed.

One thing is when it's New York.

It's another thing when it's a mountain slope at a skiing resort, a lonely hiking trail, or a deserted bike track.
