But will the EU actually make it so standards for goods entering the EU from the US are the same as products produced in the EU?
Aren't those standards the same for everyone though? How are they different? I keep asking you and other Trumpists about this, but none of you managed to answer so far.
You realise that Japanese and South Korean cars have to meet the same EU standards as American cars, right?
For example, the most popular car brand in Poland in April 2023 was Japanese:
auto-swiat.pl/wiadomosci/aktualnosci/japonska-marka-zdominowala-polski-rynek-jej-pozycja-w-rankingach-sprzedazy-imponuje/6pczkzh
1. Toyota: 5875 cars
2. Skoda: 4292
3. Volkswagen: 3025
4. Kia: 2752
5. Audi: 2073
6. Hyundai: 1900
7. BMW: 1769
8. Mercedes: 1610
9. Dacia: 1488
10. Renault: 1246
Dacia is cheap not only in price but quality. Chevy, inexpensive but much higher quality.
I've checked the prices and the catalogue price of a new Dacia Logan is 57 900 PLN (Essential) and 61 400 PLN (Comfort). In Poland for a used Chevrolet Spark (the smallest car in the Chevy lineup) from 2021 you have to pay 89 000 PLN. And Dacia Logan looks much, much better as far as the design is concerned (Spark's design looks old to me) ;)
Also, Chevrolet Spark was discontinued.
And here you have a Polish review of Dacia Logan:
"A sensible sedan - Dacia Logan TCe 100:"fleet.com.pl/wiadomosci/sensowny-sedan-dacia-logan-tce-100
A quote:
"Romanian sedan is still unrivaled in terms of relation of price to what we're getting for that price."Photo comparison of a new Dacia Logan and a used Chevy Spark:
