History books in 20 years:

Trump - the First US President who Bankrupted America and Made Israel Great Again.

The writing is on the wall, yet the MAGA idiots are still confused. At this point, I wonder if Trump supporters are actually foreign agents who wish death upon America. He will "save" 80B (5.3%) to borrow another 1.5T (95%), on top of the current 39T.

It is very simple, the same script again. Just assume:

Casino = America
Investors / Workers = American People

Donald Trump's Atlantic City casinos failed due to high debt from junk bonds and mismanagement, leading to multiple bankruptcies while he personally profited. According to The New York Times, he shifted personal debt to the casinos and collected millions in fees, leaving investors and workers with heavy losses.

if Trump supporters are actually foreign agents

Some of them, but a majority of those who still support Trump are old, stubborn grandpas, and there are some retards..

What have Trump and the US Congress actually done for ordinary Americans in recent years - on healthcare, debt or inflation reduction, or job creation? Nothing.

Yet idiots still buy into the right-vs-left con. The US debt is going to hit $40 trillion this year, followed by more US credit downgrades. Even if the "war" ends, the isolated America will face years of fallout because of 0range and his supporters.

They threatened the pope.

They threatened the pope.

Not gonna lie, it's a fairly new experience siding solidly with the Pope. Not done that for a few decades.

They threatened the pope.

Every day a new low. Can they go lower?

Lazarus

Every day a new low. Can they go lower?

Of course they can. If you'd said even a year and a half ago that the president of the USA would publicly threaten to commit genocide, people would have thought you'd lost your mind. Now it's just another day in The Tangolini Show.

They threatened the pope

Curious what our resident Catholics, AntV and Torq will say about this?

Torq
9 Apr 2026  #640

They threatened the pope.

I find it extremely hard to believe that they would dare to threaten His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, the successor of St. Peter and the Vicar of Christ on earth.

They deny this...

"The meeting between Pentagon and Vatican officials was a respectful and reasonable discussion," the Defense Department official continued. "We have nothing but the highest regard and welcome continued dialogue with the Holy See."

If the threat never happened, why do they report that the Pope cancelled a planned visit to the United States because of it?

Torq

why do they report

I don't know. It just doesn't make sense. Catholics are the single largest Christian denomination in the USA, and most of them supported Trump in the elections. If they withdraw their support he is finished.

Oh, well... Saint John Paul II dismantled the Soviet Union, maybe Leo XIV will dismantle the MAGA abomination. Here's hoping.

But we are dealing with evangelical Christians, two words that should never be in the same sentence like "country" and "western".

Melania now doing a surprise presser to say she has nothing to do with Epstein

Means that for cert some story about her about to break and it's probably true

jon357

she has nothing to do with Epstein

I'm inclined to believe her.

Lazarus

That's exactly my reading of it.
Although some say it's not impossible that the attack on Iran is going so badly that the Epstein story is now being used to distract people from the disastrous war that was intended to distract people from the Epstein story, I don't believe that she'd lift a finger to protect taco from the consequences of his actions.

I'm inclined to believe her.

I'm not, she was an attractive but vulnerable illegal immigrant who some claim had sex with people who could pay enough, i.e. ideal fodder for the Epstein of that period.

I find it extremely hard to believe that they would dare to threaten His Holiness, Pope..

Me too, or, at least, I hope the Trump admin hasn't gone that far off the reservation.

why do they report that the Pope cancelled a planned visit to the United States because..

Within past month I read Leo hasn't put America in the map quite yet, so that story may be wrong.

If the threat did happen, then the hell with them. I'm an American Catholic, not a Catholic-American.

Lazarus

I hope the Trump admin hasn't gone that far off the reservation.

They've already publicly committed war crimes. For example, the US defence secretary publicly declared that US forces would give "no quarter", which is a war crime explicitly forbidden by Art. 23 of the 1907 Hague Convention and also by US law.

If the threat did happen

It happened. Have a read: thelettersfromleo.com/p/the-pentagon-threatened-pope-leo

I'm not sure why it's hard to believe the US regime privately threatened the Pope. The 'president' publicly threatened to commit genocide if a nation did not bend to his will, which is a crime against humanity. The defence secretary has committed war crimes in public. When they speak like that in public, it's easy to predict how they speak in private.

Yeah, I think the same.

You mean they can get worse?

They can and they almost certainly will.

I really hope that Hegseth ends up in the Hague answering for his crimes and sending a powerful message to any idiots that follow him.

jon357
10 Apr 2026  #651

had sex with people who could pay enough

Nowt wrong with doing that when you need to put food on the table.

I just read that somebody is suing her over some Epstein issues; doubtless her statement is motivated by that.

I really hope that Hegseth ends up in the Hague answering for his crimes and sending..

When he's out of a job and not surrounded by goons, someone should snatch him and take him there.

If this is real, it's very hard to describe the individual who wrote it as either sane of in any way fit to hold public office, even at a low level.

America is f*cked Part 1:

Have you ever wondered how many soldiers would be needed to subdue and occupy Iran? I mean after defeating Iranian army in the field (which wouldn't be that easy as modern warfare heavily favours the defender). No?

Common force-to-population ratio for occupations has this rule of thumb that says 20-25 security personnel per 1000 inhabitants. Of course, there are arsehole countries that really don't enjoy being occupied like Afghanistan, Poland, Vietnam or former Yugoslavia where you would need more troops than that, but for the purpose of Iran (some population doesn't like the regime there and might not be willing to engage in insurgency) let's stick with this standard 20-25 number.

Iran's population is 92 million, so when we apply the ratio we get 1.8 - 2.3 million troops. Yes, it is not easy to confront large, ideologically motivated population engaged in asymmetric warfare - ask Russians if it was easy to subdue tiny Chechenya.

Anyways, the entire active-duty U.S. army is roughly 450,000 soldiers. :)

MAGA crowd fantasize about "boots on the ground" in Iran. Well, that would require not only unprecedented mobilization but also switching the American industry into war mode to merely replace the ammo stocks which are rapidly depleting after just a month of the Israel Hegemony War against Iran.

If Trump was practically begging (in his usual retarded way) for a cease-fire with Iran, imagine how much better would he (and the US military) do in case of the Chinese invasion of Taiwan. 🤣 🤣 🤣

@Torq
Wheatear it is or isn't it remind to be seen but that doesn't matter.

I have been saying form the start that Poland depend on Poland, and the only trustworthy alliance is the one build by Poland, with countries who have vested interest i.e. the same enemy, and who potential slight smaller or bigger than Poland's potential.
Being part of NATO and alliance with the US was there ( in my mind ) to buy us time before we can have our own nukes or ability to build it within six months.
Notice I was against buying F-35, as I call it expensive junk, for the very practical reasons:
- price US companies price them silly because in this way supplement their warplanes development and make it cheaper for American military.
- abilities, all complex war machines sold by the US have their abilities retarded, it means they do not have the same functions like American versions.
- In any given time America can use code that will disable those functions that are necessary to use a plane as a effective war machine, for example if they don't like we win with Russia.
- cost of explanation, for American planes is rather high, The US can afford it easily, Poland loses a lot of money.
As afterthought, that why Poland choosing F16 over Gripen was a political decision not a practical one, Gripen and what Sweden offered with it was much more suitable for Poland and was cost-effective.

As for European Army, that yet another example of EU idiots in charge not fit for purpose. ( or worse, I can explain if you are interested)
Instead of building some pan European army which need budget, army of pen-pushers and want not, with issues who is charge and who is paying for what, EU could simply build something akin to NATO for example Europe Defence Pact. That would function like NATO but better, with automatic response of the whole military if one member state would be attacked.
Do you like it?

Torq

I remember. That's why I think you're a smart guy.

Long range missile strikes. That will be their only and final mission - to extend the range that we can hit with. If we use those F-35s that will mean we are dying but Russia is receiving fatal blows as well.

Do you like it?

Definitely. I would support such European NATO, with stronger and more sever automatic response mechanism, any day. If Finland is attacked - f*ck it, everyone goes all in with all they've got to save Finland. Same for any other European member. Article 5 on steroids. That's the right way to go.

Ironside
11 Apr 2026  #657

Long range missile strikes.

Iran has it solved without planes, those ranges can be extended in rockets, Ukraine is rapidly devaloping those.

Torq
11 Apr 2026  #658

those ranges can be extended in rockets

Of course, and we are already (not officially of course) cooperating with Iran on that. I wrote about it a couple of times here on PF.

But we have to diversify our means of delivering blows - stationary silos, moving batteries, F-35s. Ideally we would also want to strike from submarines, that's why I was a bit annoyed with buying those Swedish A26 Blekinge type subs, because they are not designed for launching long-range missiles. If we can't adapt them for this, it's a nonsensical purchase.

Ironside
11 Apr 2026  #659

Swedish A26 Blekinge type subs,

We can wait before getting nukes subs able to carry nukes, they wouldn't be placed in the Baltic anyway.
Those Swedish ones help to box Russian in the Baltic.
---
By the way, we need to remember always that the US or some section of it are dreaming up alliance with Russia, they see Russia as a potential partner.
That is important and that all those experts didn't tell JK.

Torq
11 Apr 2026  #660

the US or some section of it are dreaming up alliance with Russia

I know. That's why when Trump threatened the countries who side with Iran with 50% tariffs, he obviously didn't include Russia in that.

Trump, however, is finished. It's just ostatnie podrygi konajÄ…cej ostrygi, and soon adults will again be in charge of the USA.
