2016 Presidential Elections in the US

Nathans

After the recent debate and more reasoning.. Cruz is the best choice for America at this point. Trump is too 'flexible' on the core issues and probably more concerned about his Trump brand than the average folks who believe he's not like the others. Exactly the same 'positive feelings' for good change were in 2008 with Obama; it turned out to be a major disaster.

Exactly the same 'positive feelings' for good change were in 2008 with Obama; it turned out to be a major disaster.

That is an excellent point except we all knew Hussain was all about the REDISTRIBUTION of WEALTH and DIVERSITY.
Rumor is he is getting a divorce once they move out of the White House.
How sad as they make such a lovely couple.
Don't be surprised if Trump has a fatal accident soon though.
Some people are getting very nervous like Hussain Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Jon Corzine to name just a few.
It's about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media.
They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership and it's all in their interests to protect one another.
It's one for all and all for one.
It's a hell of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich, everyone except the American people.
We get ripped off. We're the sheeple.
But for once the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared.
The over the top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it glaringly shows they are all threatened and frightened.
President Trump can self-fund so he needs NONE of them to influence him.
No matter how much they say to the contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump is no joke.
He could actually win and would love to upset their nice cozy apple cart.
And if he indicts Hillary and she gets a prison term for lying about Benghazi, receiving illegal payback contributions to the Clinton foundation from foreign countries, military corporations, big banks, Wall Street and the rest of her sins you can bet President Trump will get elected for a second term.
That will would really be poetic justice as my generation has suffered with our hands tied through our entire lives with dirt bags in charge like we have now.

Need to remember that Trump is a capitalist (in a good and bad way). People now seem to hate politicians; what happened to capitalists though - politician vs. capitalist, the choice is still very limited. Some of his core plans are illusion (without Congress he cannot do anything relevant). Take his statement about tariffs to companies that move to Mexico to make cars. He said he would charge Ford or whatever 30% tariff on cars manufactured in Mexico. Even if he managed to make it happen - guess who would lose - the CUSTOMERS. They would have limited choice (buying a Japanese or Korean car would be a luxury). Same would apply to other things - in North Korea customers can also buy locally-produced garbage, is this where American customers would win?

He said he would charge Ford or whatever 30% tariff on cars manufactured in Mexico.

What an incentive to bring your manufacturing back to America aye.
Not to mention giving the American people their jobs back that they lost to Mexico or the tax base it would create.
is this where American customers would win?

Yes because Japanese (Toyota) cars are already being built in America.
The American vehicles being built in Mexico..... it would bring those auto worker jobs back to America putting Americans back to work at a decent wage.
The customers would win by the trickle down effect.
It's not America's job to feed the world anymore as all we get back is spit on and laughed at.

It's no coincidence that everyone is trying to destroy The Donald.
It's because most of the other politicians are part of the a good old boys club.
They talk big but they won't change a thing as it will be business as usual.
They are all beholden to big money donors.
They are all owned by lobbyists, unions, lawyers, gigantic environmental organizations (Global Warming) and multinational corporations like Big Pharmacy or Big Oil.
Or they are owned lock stock and barrel by foreigners like George Soros owns Obama or foreign governments own Hillary and their Clinton Foundation donations.
These run of the mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money.
But The Donald isn't beholden to nobody.
He's one man who doesn't need foreigners or foreign governments or George Soros or the United Auto Workers or the teacher's union or the Service Employees International Union or the Bar Association to fund his campaign.
Billionaire The Donald doesn't need anyone's help.
That means he doesn't care what the media says.
He doesn't care what the corporate elites think.
That makes him very dangerous to the entrenched interests.
That makes Trump a huge threat to those people.
Trump can ruin everything for the bribed politicians and their spoiled slave masters.
Remember Princess Diana's fate when she didn't play by the rules.
The Donald doesn't play by the rules either and would have no qualms about exposing these people's cozy little club and free not only the American people but the people of the world from their chains.
I hope The Trumpster doesn't end up like Princess Diana did.

I hold a degree in international business

I frequently travel around the world in my position as well

I was also a commodity broker

I subscribe to various publications on economics

I dealt with clients from all over the world

I wrote about taxes and the Laffer Curve - do you even know what that is?

Yup you don't get much more American than that. Me me me , I I I.... Do you talk really loud in public places when you're not in America?

Besides its really difficult giving any credibility to Donald Trump supporters.

Exactly the same 'positive feelings' for good change were in 2008 with Obama

Which begs the obvious question: how many more times will people fall for the same tricks?

johnny reb
5 Mar 2016  #637

Yup you don't get much more American than that.

Now your turn Big Guy, let's hear what your British credentials are besides gym rat.
Besides its really difficult giving any credibility to Donald Trump supporters.

That only covers quite a few million people which would make one surmise that it is you with no credibility.
I can't wait for the first debate between The Trumpster and Hillary.
He will tear her up with some very embarrassing truths for her to spit and sputter out more lies of denial.
More popcorn please.

Now your turn Big Guy, let's hear what your British credentials are besides gym rat.

I have no desire to talk about myself at the moment, besides i could basically say anything i like and you wouldn't know whether it true or not. I can tell you that i haven't experienced the benefits of extended, exclusive education like many others.

Whats wrong Johnny you getting a little frustrated at people ignoring your insane ramblings that you need to stick your nose into other peoples fights?

Whats wrong Johnny you getting a little frustrated at people ignoring your insane ramblings

Actually if you would go back thru this thread you will see that the ratio of people replying to my posts out number the people that have replied (excluding me) to your post overwhelmingly.
Sounds to me like YOU are the one who is frustrated and jealous for being ignored.
Your ramblings of belittlements and insults are so childish Yose.
People like you think you have intelligent opinions arrived at my critical thinking but you really don't.

Did you hear what you just said idiot >>>YOUR critical thinking>>>LOL>>> it's critical alright but only to yourself......P.U.
you need to stick your nose into other peoples fights?

Oh, so now it is officially a fight and not a debate.
Typical annoying Brit and they wonder WHY we call the them Brit Bullies when they come here to start fights by insulting and belittling new members from America. I rest my case.
I decided about two years ago to limit debates with retards on the internet, I'm not about to break that rule now.

Your "critical thinking" just broke your own rule according to your self admission of guilt.
Oh and to answer your question, Yes, I will stick my nose into other people's "fights" ANYTIME the Brit Bullies belittle, intimidate or insult another non Brit member here like you just did, retard.
You annoying Brits hay days are over here son, as there is a new red neck Yank sheriff in town.
Now apologize to Nathans for attacking him for no other reason than he is a Pole that lives in America.
The only thing that annoys you Yose is when someone smarter then you debates your "critical thinking" and blows it out of the water.
Thanks for your input Nathans as I agree with you 100% and welcome to the PF.

@Johnny,
the "that was then, this is now" type fallacy doesn't cut the mustard; it never did!

So because in Nazi Germany it was acceptable to slaughter innocent Jews and others because that was the reigning New Order of the day, did that make it right???!

Germany said the same thing; the Enlightenment was then, this is now.

johnny reb
5 Mar 2016  #641

the "that was then, this is now" type fallacy doesn't cut the mustard; it never did!

That is where you don't get it.
See you have been brainwashed into actually believing that.
Now listen up because I am tired of explaining it to you six ways short of a dozen.
You have enjoyed eight years of Hussian Obama's Progressive Liberal Socialist Racist Political Correctness.
Look how it has divided and destroyed our country to becoming a third world country.
The other guys money has finally run out (Socialism) and now we are spending our great grandchildren's money.
Remember Hussain printing money out of thin air because he thought we could spend our way out of a recession ? lol
Didn't work did it as we are now 20 trillion in debt with 13 trillion of it being his. No denying that.
Game over......the people have had a belly full of Political Correctness and progressive thinking.
The pendulum is starting to swing back the other way with the people nominating Trump to take this Progressive Thinking Fallacy and putting it in the garbage can and returning to what made America great which is not going deeper in debt, deporting our enemies, putting Jesus Christ back into our schools, throwing able bodied people off welfare, breaking up the teachers union so unqualified teachers can be fired, bring jobs back to America, balance out the free trade with equal tariffs, no more 'everyone gets a trophy' for participating as there will be winners and losers, get rid of the sissy laws so boys can grow up to be MEN and tell the Liberals to take a hike, it's OUR turn for eight years so get use to it.
OOH RAH !
the "that was then, this is now"

And that is exactly what we are going to be telling you when President Trump walks into the White House.
Screw your Progressive Thinking and Political Correctness, that was then, this is now, time to man up sissies.
Time to buy yourself a gun and learn how to use it and find yourself a church to attend regularly.
HORRORS you say !
That's why the Dems are starting to panic because they know they are in for a rude awakening when the Trumpster tells them that he really doesn't care about their Political Correctness.
There, even a pre teen could understand that so therefore certainly a college professor if they had a brain bigger then a pea.
Class dismissed

Damn, the more this Republican nomination race goes on, the more that Clinton is going to run away with the next election.

Wonder if the local bookies here will accept a bet on Clinton winning at least 400 electoral college votes.

johnny reb
6 Mar 2016  #643

Right on delph, the Republicans are tired of being hi jacked by this Political Correctness Crap.

Those crutch words of racist, bigot, homophobe and the rest of them are going to get flushed when The Donald wins the election.

The GOP will fade into obscurity if it continues to be the party of the (soon to be) senile white male minority. Rubio has understood, or so it seems, and the conservative Republicans hate him for that.

You annoying Brits hay days are over here son, as there is a new red neck Yank sheriff in town.

The one with a big mouth and small hands? :)the

In a funny sense, Trump might actually be their best hope. He won't win against Clinton, but at least he will represent a break from the stereotypical anti-abortion, anti-'liberal', anti-everything GOP. Cruz will just lead them to another loss.

johnny reb
6 Mar 2016  #646

Wake up son, you are dreaming again.
The GOP is just getting warmed up.
Wait until President Trump starts debating Hillary and calls her out on her sins on National T.V. where she can't hide.
He is going to drag that poor woman over hot coals like never before.
Like I said, it would be no surprise to me if "some how" he meets up with a fatal accident like so many others have that have gotten in her way to reach her political platform.
I am looking so forward to her being FINALLY held accountable.
Did you see where Miss Arkansas came out on FB and said that she is fear for her life because of the affair she had with Slick Willie ?

TheOther
6 Mar 2016  #647

Trump might actually be their best hope

Proof in what sad state the GOP is in?

He is going to drag that poor woman over hot coals

Come on Johnny, his performance in the last debate was more than embarrassing. Childish mudslinging all over the place, and this guy wants to become president of the most powerful nation on Earth?

delphiandomine
6 Mar 2016  #648

Childish mudslinging all over the place, and this guy wants to become president of the most powerful nation on Earth?

It's exactly why Clinton will destroy him. He won't be able to resist some misogynistic comments, and at that point, even moderate Republicans will turn on him.

More to the point, he can get away with hiding his tax returns now because Rubio and Cruz can't get the job done, but he hasn't got a hope in hell once the race really starts.

Might be all academic anyway, seeing as Cruz has done the job tonight.

delphiandomine
6 Mar 2016  #649

Just spotted now : Cruz has taken Maine. Trump needs to win in Kentucky, otherwise the momentum is very much with Cruz before the next round of primaries.

Amazing how quickly things can turn. Rubio was looking like the compromise candidate that would get rid of both Cruz and Trump, now it seems as if he's lost a huge amount of ground overnight.

TheOther

now it seems as if he's lost a huge amount of ground overnight

No wonder, he joined Trump at trailer trash level.

Explains why someone keeps jumping between "President" Trump and Rubio, then ;)

Might be all academic anyway, seeing as Cruz has done the job tonight.

Got the job done......lol.......delph he won our home State of Texas which is a huge State (bigger then Poland and Germany put together) where he picked up 99 delegates which is of no surprise. Get the job done.....what a sensationalist you are.
Proof in what sad state the GOP is in?

And you are comparing this to what ? lol
Childish mudslinging

That's what I already said, he could give a rats behind about the Liberals "Political Correctness."
Get use to it because the next eight years are going to be Politically Incorrect.
Trump needs to win in Kentucky

He will
Explains why someone keeps jumping between "President" Trump and Rubio, then ;)

Who would that be delph ? Not you as you would vote for Crazy Bernie if you could.
The ole Libs are starting to get nervous that President Trump will tear apart their cozy little Cartel.

Lyzko
6 Mar 2016  #653

It is you, JohnnyBoy, who's got to "wake up"!

You fail to understand the nature of Trump as well as the onslaught of Reaganism and the Death of the New Deal.
Where once wealth in this country appeared to be squarely in the hands of the deserving upper crust, there was less
animosity towards those who "had", rather than had not.

When the US lost tribalism and elitism, it went down hill quickly!

porky pok

and small hands

umm did you hear his answer..........No complains anywhere else.

TheOther
6 Mar 2016  #655

And you are comparing this to what ?

The simple fact that you ask me this question demonstrates nicely what I meant. If you and your ilk find the current state of the party 'normal' in any way or consider a raucious TV celebrity with a big mouth and no brain to be a viable option, then the GOP and the country are in much bigger trouble than I suspected already.

delphiandomine
6 Mar 2016  #656

Don't worry, I'm sure President Clinton will mop up the mess afterwards.

Yep, plenty of deeply misguided folks out there and ol' Don's merely fanning the flames of their discontents:-)

Some people here on PF seriously claim there's zero comparison between The Donald and The Fuehrer.
Guess some of us are plain ignoramuses, that's all: dumb and proud....sorta like Duck!!

Gosh, I pity the next generation.

johnny reb

Yep, plenty of deeply misguided folks out there

I know, we call them "Low Information Voters", they voted for Hussain TWICE !
Can you believe such stupidity ?
Now these same idiots want Hillary to carry on his legacy. Misguided is right.
Proof in what sad state the GOP is in?

And you are comparing this to what ? lol

The simple fact that you ask me this question demonstrates nicely what I meant.

Just the contrary, read my question again. What are you comparing the GOP to ?
Don't worry, I'm sure President Clinton will mop up the mess afterwards.

Now that might be tuff for her to do from a prison cell.
Gosh, I pity the next generation.

You can thank our teachers for that, Common Core, Political Correctness, everyone gets a trophy, taking prayer out of the schools, brainwash teaching liberalism, promoting homosexuality, guns are bad, progressive thinking and all the rest of the crap that has ruined our country,
I pity this generation as they don't even know how to feed themselves without food stamps.
President Trump will get us rolling again after eight years of total failures by the Socialists that put our country in huge debt.
He'll wake you up to reality Lyzko
It's now down to a two man race with my man Rubio as good as out so looks like I am down to just two to decide on over the summer before the general election in November.
I hope President Trump doesn't run into one of Clintons tragic accidents before then and have them call it suicide.

TheOther
7 Mar 2016  #660

What are you comparing the GOP to ?

The leadership of a powerful political party should consist of intelligent, balanced, trustworthy and law abiding people. Now ask yourself the question: is there anyone in the GOP (or the Democratic Party for that matter) who fits these criteria? No? Well, there's your answer.
